I thought collages were fun?
Pokes won 20-19 though. On a miracle play (for us) where Florida Atlantic's QB fumbled the ball just outside the EZ with a little over 2 minutes left. Pokes recovered, a big play down the field, and got the game winning field goal.

LSU upset. Anyone who lowers FSU's #1 bid based on this game is an idiot.

As I have mentioned before, you have got to learn how to spell college before you graduate. It's the principle of the thing.
He meant his collage class.
About a year ago target was telling us why he likes pro better than collage football. So I posted the best football collages I could find.

Sorry, Quirk. You can't help today's youth.

That Steelers game was cathartic. Glad to see my team doing what they're supposed to.

I would not lower FSU's bid after this week but not because I am acknowledging that Winston was out and they didn't play as well as they could, I am acknowledging that the entire top 5 as the rankings go looked very beatable. FSU should have lost to Clemson and only escaped on Clemson's mistakes, Oregon squeaked out a win against a not so good opponent, Alabama vs Florida was a lot closer than the 42-21 score suggests and the fact that they looked undisciplined at times along with the turnovers should have Bama fans worried for their season, Oklahoma I did not see in entirety so I won't comment completely but the highlights also showed some slop and Auburn slipped by a good opponent in KSU. Hell, considering that LSU lost and #7, #9 and #10 apparently didn't play, #6 Texas A&M was the only top 10 team this week with a really convincing win...against unranked SMU. I think this is going to be an interesting season and I would not be surprised at all if the current or final top 4 to go into the playoffs had a loss on their schedule. In fact, I would not be surprised if one or more of the current top 4 had two losses on their schedule. Out of the top 5, Alabama in particular has yet to have a win that has impressed me.

Oregon vs WSU confirmed that, while Oregon's offense is very potent, their defense is very vulnerable and could be their undoing.

Hm. Yesterday I thought it was Tuesday. I'm excited today is Thursday. I wish I could 'skip' Wednesdays more often.

I was going to start a thread about the latte salute, but it seems the Republicans have already turned it into a marketing campaign. Politicians can take the meaning out of anything.

It rained here today. The locals were very confused - I mean, water was falling out of the sky! How did it get up there?

Reminds me. Back in my senior year of high school we had a few foreign exchange students. 1 from Germany, 1 from Africa (I forget which country), and a couple from China. The girl from Africa, being her first year in Wyoming (and at altitude) had enjoyed her first summer here. Fall was coming on quickly, and the change in Laramie weather was brought up (it can be a white out blizzard 1 day, 2 days later it feels like spring or even summer), and the topic of rain was brought up. The girl from Africa stated she loved the rain. We told her that rain here is always cold, even in the summer. She was like "whatever". And then it rained. And then 2 weeks later, it dropped to the 50s (spring/fall weather for Laramie). And she was like "OK, you guys win. Turn off the cold now." We laughed, as we stood around in our shorts and t-shirts while she was wearing a heavy winter coat. And it hadn't even snowed yet.

Hqppy that UGA was able to get pressure on the qb against Tennessee and the rush looked good as always. Not too excited about everything else.

Well, MSU lived up to their top 10 ranking. That hurt. We get a bye week than head to Hawaii. Also, Shaun Wick, Wyoming RB, is badass. Ran for 85 yards on 5 carries and got a TD. I don't know why he didn't play more, but he is a hell of a runningback.
Speaking of MWC, Air Force just knocked off Boise State, 28-14. With that, Wyoming actually slides into 1st in the Mountain Division of the MWC (1-0 conference record, we beat Air Force a few weeks ago).
