Well, seems DC Comics is really starting to up the ante. A new animated Justice League series is set to premier this coming Fall. The biggest part of this? Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill, both from the original DCAU, are set to reprise their rolls as Batman and Joker respectively.

I just hope to God it's not another Teen Titans Go. That abomination needs to burn.

I didn't like it, but it wasn't aimed at anyone above 7.
DC usually produce far better animation than Marvel, just as Marvel seem to win in the live action area.

90s Spider-Man and X-Men would disagree with you.

Batman Beyond was an incredible show from the 90s too though. DC Animation has been hitting sluggers with their movies in the last decade. Marvel has had some good shows, but also some Teen Titans Go (Hulk and the Agents of SMASH anyone?)

You mean the DCAU in general from the 90s up until the early 2000s. I think Batman Beyond was the last series in that. But it began with Batman The Animated Series.

Speaking of DC animated films, The Killing Joke is next, and it has Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill in it as well (obviously reprising their roles).

My only issue with the new films, is the New 52 continuity as a whole. They retconned a LOT of origin stories. And made the Amazons, once victims of rape or other such abuse, depending on the continuity, into the rapists. And baby killers. What the hell DC?

Though Damien Wayne is a different kind of Robin. And seeing him progress in the films from a living weapon into a person with human emotions is a nice change of pace.

Update on the curlson's car:
(recap- it was stolen, used in a murder, recovered.)
There was a lot of damage to the car, as the curlson discovered when the police had finally finished with it.
The insurance company have declared it "totalled", and towed it away.
Now we are waiting to see what they're gonna pay.

Meanwhile, did I mention that someone stole the curlette's phone? They then hacked into her bank account to the tune of $300. The bank have agreed this was not her and "provisionally" credited the money back to her account.

Yowza. At least both of these items sound like they didn't involve personal harm, which is a bright side.

Yeah, they were both pretty shaken up. But everyone's OK, which is good. Mrs thecurl will be seeing them both this week, stopping off in NJ on her way to Khartoum on business. Somewhat nervous as one part of her journey is Egypt Air into Cairo.
And I'll be seeing them in a couple of weeks, after a visit to the aging parents in Wales and Essex (England Essex, not some US knock-off). We were hoping to bring Grandma over for the curlette's high school graduation, but she doesn't feel up to it. Still, I'll be there and so will the curlson and Mrs thecurl. I haven't got a "curl" epithet for my grandaughter yet, which is ironic, as she is curly. Hmm... what about "the curlsonette"? Whatever, I'm looking forward to seeing her, it's months since I did.
