MY friend had a cattle prod. he would use it on people who got out of line at the parties he would have. I would laugh my ass off when he would hit someone with it. looks like it hurt alot.

She'a not gone home yet. Trouble is, her mother works for an airline so she flies for free - but has to wait for a free "standby" seat. This usually means she leaves (and indeed arrives) 12-36 hours after she planned to. Still not guilty of murder, but if that flight doesn't have room tomorrow I make no promises.

Jones, she probably knows you don't like her and that makes her feel awkward so she hides from you. Her laziness is a curse; this is true, but try to see past it.

So my guests may finally have gone. They tried to leave yesterday, but the tail end of Florence was forcing NY flights to be cancelled so they've gone back to the airport to see if they can get away today. Fingers crossed.

Can I just say to the college football fans here that I think I agree now with Aaron Murray that Pruitt is not head coach material? The ineptitude of the Tennessee offense was bad enough in those first two drives but as soon as he was down two scores, he went into desperation mode and started making insane calls. You can't be a head coach at a power 5 conference school and lose your composure that easily.

Mother-in-law just had a heart attack it seems. Mrs thecurl was in the UK on business so she's gone to see her in hospital. Much discussion on the fact that Grandma probably shouldn't live on her own any more, and what to do about that immediately when she comes out of hospital. Looks like I might be going to the UK to keep her company for a coupla weeks until we can sort something out for her.
