Don't worry yourself about it too much, everyone has those tournaments that don't fill that fast. sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's hard to get one to fill. I'm sure any tournament organizer worth his salt can tell you that.

I suspect its an honest mistake. You'd be surprised how many people don't read the rules and instructions as well as they should.

which in itself is annoying and stupid. I'm sure you can attest having run many of them bart. How hard is it to read the first post? Just spamming "in" on every tourney that is waiting for players is not the way to go.

It's not looking like you are going to get 64 people unless you send out a mass pm jacob. Find a big tourney (hint: japan tourney) and send a pm to everyone asking them to join. You should get some response.
