Round 2
Players who advance from Round 1 will be divided based on their Cartographer's role in the Foundry.
Divisions will be as follows:

Foremen: AndyDufresne, MrBenn
Graphics: thenobodies80, RedBaron0
Gameplay: Evil DIMwit, iancanton
Melting Pot: Industrial Helix, TaCktiX

All the players from a given division will play in the same games together. A total of 8 games will be played using the same settingfrom Round 1 (each division will have four players, who will play four games on each of their corresponding maps). The same scoring methods will be used as in Round 1. The top finisher from each division will advance to the finals.

Out of curiosity, in the case that someone wins by objective and multiple other players finish the game alive, how are the rankings for that game decided?

I've been going off the elimination order as shown in the tourney stats script... I'm not too sure how this handles objective wins, but am guessing that it'll process eliminations in gameplay order?

Yes, that's happened a couple of times in my division. It may be worth ruling on a ranking method and taking a look at the closed games before proceeding with the tournament.

I'll look through those games again; in those cases where a game is won by holding an objective, then I'll revise the scores so that everybody still alive at the end gets the same amount of points (with an extra 2 for the actual winner of the game). This would seem to make the most sense to me. Is yours the only map in the tournament list that you can win via an objective?

I believe so.

I've been informed that army of nobunga has withdrawn, so Metricsystemlove will take his place in the next round.

My group just finished all of our Round 2 games. I was in the Melting Pot. I'm curious how close the rest of the groups are to finishing.

Sorry for the slow response... there's one game still going; although it looks like the people in it have started a build game... Three players from the group could still go through, so I'll work out the standings for the rest of the groups and will probably let three go through from that group (it will be quicker than a tie-break, as technically a tie-break isn't needed as there isn't currently a tie.)

The build game appears to have finally finished... I'm going to wait until after Christmas now before sending out the next batch of games.
