Would like to have a doubt clarified:

a team can't select players from the same clan in the first 4 rounds, meaning they can only "repeat" a clan when they get to round 5. What I'd like to know is if a captain from one clan can draft a player from the same clan in the first 4 rounds.

No... When I had a bunch of people let me know where they think this thing went wrong and this was a suggestion by a few. To try and make the first 4 rounds people in different clans. Now depending on the tier status this may not happen. But will try to stick to it. Long story short would like the 1st four picks from a different clan but if it cant happen then it cant . Hope that clears it up.

Just to make it totally clear, I'll present two scenarios and you tell me which one is allowed and which one is prohibited, ok?

Scenario number 1

Captain from clan "A".

1st round pick - can't pick someone from clan "A". Picks someone from clan "B".
2nd round pick - can't pick someone from clans "A" and "B". Picks someone from clan "C".
3rd round pick - can't pick someone from clans "A", "B" and "C". Picks someone from clan "D".
4th round pick - can't pick someone from clans "A", "B", "C" and "D". Picks someone from clan "E".

Scenario number 2

Captain from clan "A".

1st round pick - picks someone from clan "A". He is not technically "repeating a pick", since this was is the first.
2nd round pick - can't pick someone from clan "A". Picks someone from clan "B".
3rd round pick - can't pick someone from clans "A" and "B". Picks someone from clan "C".

Scenario A is what is going to be looked for. Now I will say if we can get to 128 which is 8 people on each team I was going to get let the captains pick there Co-Captain and would not matter what clan they are in. Just want to make sure there is a trust worthy Co Captain on each team. So if we hit 128 then kinda looks like Scenario B but there will be a Co Captain pick before round 1.

Personally, I would like to pick members from my own clan, but I don't mind this being disabled. However, I do want me to be able to pick a co-captain from my own clan, so I would have at least one player that I can completely trust ( if I'd actually be a captain).

That is what im thinking Commander. Figuring a person from your clan will be someone you trust and the tourney can count on if something were to happen to the captain. Reason for the limited access to your own clan or picking a bunch from a different clan is to indeed have a mix group of players. If we dont do it that way then hell mights as let people just sign up 8 players .
