You need to be optomistic and look forward to next season,
since they have nowhere to go from here... but up.

The Lions don't even make the blooper reels anymore. They have become the most feared (by Owners) type of team in any professional sport. They are utterly and completely irrelevant.

The Bears have the most talent in the division. The Packers have the best QB. The Vikings have the best running game. and the Lions they've got nothing hahahahhahaha(except CJ of course)..

I'd like to see the Lions experiment with some new ideas, take some chances
and have some fun playing the game... because they have nothing to lose.

sadly the coach is not really one to do things like try new ideas, introduce solid tactics, or find strengths of his team and play to them. Im not 0-12, you're 0-12!

Im so sick of hearing how great the Packers secondary is. They are by far the MOST OVERRATED secondary in the NFL, and this is coming from a packers fan.
Al Harris gets his ass handed to him on several occaisions in every game he is in, and it usually doesnt show because 6 games a year we play NFC North teams who are all horrible at throwing the ball. Im glad Brees finally exposed how much the CB of the Pack get burnt, and also exposing the absolute lack of talent at either safety position.
Press man coverage works ONLY when their is safety coverage over the top, which their isnt, and the ability to blitz and hurry the QB, a concept that our defensive coordinator is obviously not familiar with. I am continuosly bashing my head off a counter as every play we rush 4 and play man with our large and slower-than-average LB core without Barnett, who was the only LB that could cover someone out of the backfield.
I pray that we switch our coordinators soon and give the players on the field a chance...

Yesterday, I bought my first big screen HDTV ever. I set it up with all the surround sound audio accessories right before the Bears/Vikings contest. Then I watched my 1st NFL game in my own home with this magnificent picture and sound experience.
Let me tell you all...watching the Bears offensive line not block for their running back is even more pathetic in High Definition.
Oh well, perhaps the Vikings will have added determination to win next week now as they have a shot at the division.

Have a SHOT at the division, mr. understatement? The Vikes are the favorite to win the damn division now. Blast.
Bears got outplayed and outcoached tonight by a superior team. Kudos to the Vikings, Sack.
But I understand there is a "wild card" element in the playoffs--see you then...

A division that will undoubtably only send one team into the post season.
The turnaround right before halftime was a real shocker.
14-3 you say? Nuh uh bear cubs.

When I saw the Bears up 7-0 then with the ball again early first quarter, I maybe thought it would be a turnaround game. Boy was I wrong

So Monte,
We all know you're a huge Bucs fan, which probably means you're extremely knowledgeable of the NFC. Care to enlighten us on who will emerge victorious in the AFC this year?

It was nice of the Steelers and Niners to step up on a Sunday when the JETs didn't.
They say that DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS and both Tennessee and Pittsburgh
have been stingy on that side of the ball... and will be tough places to play.
The AFC West and South are slack enough that the AFC East might sneek an extra
team into the playoffs.
OMG! can the MIAMI DOLPHINS nail down a wildcard spot?
Carolina and Tampa Bay meet on Monday night football with the NFC South lead on the line,
both teams are unbeaten at home, so the Bucs hope to change that trend.

No thank you, I watched that game when Taylor came in on him. Theisman and Taylor were never the same. One physically and one mentally.

That would be SO funny, yet an amazing comeback for the dolphins. Making the playoffs and NOT the patriots would be amazing! Especially after coming off an 1-15 season

On Wednesday, a Minneapolis judge issued a temporary restraining order against the suspensions at the players’ request, though the NFL got the case moved to federal court. That led to Friday’s decision by U.S. District Judge Paul Magnuson, who blocked the suspensions because he needed more time to consider the case after several hours of arguments from the league and the NFL Players Association.
Thank God the Minneapolis judge is a season ticket holder.
