Me and the wife have just read through this. I understand that it is in some ways reprehensible, but it also has an almost victorian element to it; a sense of condemning the poor for having the temerity to say "I am fucking poor but I just really, really, really love Risk."

But then the lucky recipient is so quick to end the thread once he gets his premium. It is rather like the young scamp who pulls a fast once before legging it down the street.

So once is forced to conclude that while it was a great read and had this ununusual sense of expectation (for I new that someone had bought him premium...but who?), it was also an attempt from a young man to get free stuff because he couldn't be bothered to mow some lawns, or play some travelling basketball, or mow some more lawns.

Incidentally, how much do you get paid for mowing a lawn in your neck of the woods? I would have charged 5 quid minimum at 14 for a straight mowing and a bit more if some weeding were involved. I know you mow some lawns but what do you get paid? 1 yuan a lawn?

1 yuan is the Chinese equivalent for a dollar.(Not factoring the conversion rate, which is 1 dollar for every 6.84 Yuan) In Texas 20 to 30 dollars per yard. That would still not solve the CC issue.

I meant that he must be getting paid a very small amount indeed if he can't mow, say, 7 lawns and make 25 dollars.

to be honest, I wouldn't know any lawns anywhere here that need mowing... so it might not be very easy to find lawns to mow ?

I mow lawns for 2 of my neighbors, will prolly expand my business on a 3rd one very soon its around 2h for each lawn and I make 150 kunas for each, thats 30ish $, I just do it cuz I got a lot of free time on my hands now but spend it on drinks and smokes tho

i play soccer evryday of the week play school+ 2 other baseball teams and am a volunteer at a nature preserve my whole summer

ps i play basketball in the winter and was on the school team as well
