flex the best of 3 takes away what makes it march madness. if we're going to the pu$$y way of best of 3 might as well call this tourney a baseball one where they do the best of 3 instead of single elimination format like the NCAA actually does. Flex already said that the ncaa tourney would be on the classic map so that it isn't an a real home field advantage unless you absolutely suck on an old school map.
Going single-elimination with Classic

Yes, I think we'll go with what was originally stated and do single-elimination on the classic map...there are plenty of other tourneys that do the series thing, and I think that single-elimination does make this more true to March Madness...thanks for voting everyone.

Southern Illinois continues to try and get hot as they beat Illinois State. The team is starting to believe they reach the NCAA tournament as they improve to 13-10 overall. Coach says all we can do is take care of bussiness and that's what we plan to do.

Records vs. the Top-10 are registered only against teams that are in the top-10 for the week that you face them...I believe Missouri State cracked the top-10 the week (Games 23-24) following your loss to them.
Of course when making the final bracket, I will factor in how teams fared against the final top-10 poll, as well.
Hope that makes sense.

Actually, Missouri State cracked it on Jan 2( Page 47 on post thread). My game with Missouri State was game 21 on Jan 6( reported on page 48 on post thread). Not sure whether it helps me or hurts me. But, I just wanted to give you the right info since everyhting has been so perfect.

Geez, if you all would just keep losing to me, I would stay in the Top 10 and you wouldn't be having these problems.

I know Night Strike I wish you could beat everyone else because you certainly have my number. But, maybe I can get back at you in the Conference Tournament.

Aha...correct you are dantheman...I will update the records with the next posting of standings.
I thought Mizzou State's first time to the top-10 was this last week when they were 10th, but you're nice detective work reveals that they were No. 8 when they played you
Your compliments about the tourney can only help your cause with the bracket committee
