There was almost a 16 seed upset lol. Benelux was the one random map and it just gave him a perfect drop, I never had a chance. On top of that he had the first turn in the other 2 games as well. But I won my home map and the other random map, the freaking Hive and advanced to the next round!

Also - Tough call taking Santa Clara over LMU in the Tourney though. Santa Clara was 19-15 to LMU's 18-15 but LMU beat SC in the conference tourney semifinal. Tough call indeed. But it looks like the right call since #15 seeded SC pulled off the upset in the first round.

There were a lot of tough calls this year...a definite top tier with 10 teams or so, then a jumble in the 19-15/18-16 range

All brackets are updated... just waiting on a couple more games to get the rest of round 2 underway. I've also sent out second-round invites to those advancing in the West.

Gonzaga had a 10 point lead at the half. They've extended it to 17 with 12 minutes left in the (2nd round) game.

Has anyone made the Sweet 16 already?

The Zags are up 32 with a minute left. We're in garbage time (3rd game) right now. But the Zags are going to the Sweet Sixteen!

Welp. Fresno State, continuing its time-honored tradition of spectacular post-season implosions, exits the NIT in the first round. In two seasons under coach AmphibiousRodent, the Bulldogs are winless after the regular season.

From my conference: #1 LMU, #1 Pepperdine and #7 Portland all went down in the first round of the NIT. But in the big dance my Zags are in the 2nd round and the #15 Santa Clara team from my conference is just starting their second round. So mixed results for my conference.
