Congrats to the GD forum for recently showing a distinct lack of threads posted with their self serving platitudes and mutual backslapping (apart from a few obvious exceptions).

This could mean, of course, that this thread is to be congratulated for seeming to achieve the original core objective. However, should this be the case then, in actual fact, by congratulating the thread itself I am in direct contradiction of this aforementioned core objective. In which I case I should add to my transgression by congratulating myself for having worked out this reasonably tortuous piece of logic, which of course once again proves that the law of self congratulation, something the GD forum knows a lot about, is in fact a self perpetuating circle of banality, cliché, absurdity and ridiculousness.
