A double whammy of insta-screwed. The only possibility I could see is if jeraado is investigation-proof, and then we're the ones on a new field of mind-screwed with this setup.
This is actually a pretty good point. I wonder why Dlanor or her earlier forms never investigated him. Interesting.

Ugh should we just lynch jeraado? It seems everybody is still on that. Here we have an odd claim from a slightly scummy poster, or someone who is under fire for almost nothing.

I would investigate jeraado or streaker, but I'm going to be busy rebulletproofing myself and researching the cure. So I can't do any investigations until at least Night 6. I give streaker credit for at least claiming under pressure. Jeraado hasn't been forced to claim yet, which is why I'm trying to pressure him to do so.

It looks like we are heading towards another lynch on shoddy reasoning.

As for my PR, I keep having to refer back to the good 'ole days. Back in my day I had much more energy to keep up with such shenanigans though, I feel I'm not up to scratch for this lately.
The reason to this would be a few things combined. A deadline approaching with little to go on, and the fact that last time there was no real clame from jeraado. He was never fully pressured.
It's not 'magically' different, but for the moment it's all we got.

The infrastructure of the highway of your brain will succumb to the pressure of the melting sun which was caused by none other than the ABOMINATION.

Restore Restore!! The masses will prevail!!

Spoiler
I agree with adding some more pressure to jeraado. I have kept my vote on streaker for a bit, but I do believe his claim. I think his claim is quite likely in a game of this nature.
So I will unvote.
Vote Jeraado.

vote streaker for now.

I am really undecided about the wagon on jeraado. Its all rehashed stuff and what / said makes sense. There really is no reason to kill him... At least, that I can think of

Streaker on the other hand has a role that seems a little too convenient to me. And even if I am wrong, well his role is pretty much useless at this point anyway. No offense streak, but right now you are the best worst-case scenario.

I agree, the role seems expendable at this point, it's a bit odd to have a cult protector in this game anyways, with so many scum groups the recruiter was pretty much guaranteed to hit a scum before long anyhow, ending the recruitment permanently.

Very well, I will go along with lynching streaker because in all likelihood, if he is what he says he his, then it'd be like killing a VT. And we really have had no indication that the Christian Cult is necessarily bad. And we need a lynch before deadline.

Unless there are more recruiters out there...

I would have loved to see the pressure on the insane folks get there FINALLY, but they will dodge another bullet this time. I understand the need for a lynch, so not much for me to put against it.

Just remember for the next day that they (the insane ones) still have had a free game so far. No kind of pressure at all, not even when wagons on one of them were there.

I'll see you all on the other side, if the speed of this wagon keeps up.

Guys, keep streak alive. I believe he is telling the truth. I received a mysterious pamphlet last night (delivered by commander) that seemed to be spouting nonsense. At the end of it, commader said I should be more "enlightened" after reading it. I asked for clarification but he refused to give any.

Now, at first I thought this was a message from one of the insane people in this game. Hence the reason why I said we should be investigating them right here:
I wrote:I'm all for investigating the insane members of our group. Just because another asylum member turned town does not necessarily mean that the others are all town too. I think that because of their PRs, they have been flying under the radar for most of the game. I will try to go back at some point and make a case on one of them and see where it takes us.
However, after rereading it (just now  ), I think the message came from streak. It says stuff about how I should steer clear of "the light," and how I should only have faith in what is known. It is really really cryptic about it though (hence why it didn't occur to me after streaker claimed). However if it was from streaker, it would explain why I was supposedly "enlightened" by it.

Hey streak, did you in fact target me last night? If so, I am really really sorry for throwing you under the bus so close to deadline.

And sorry jeraado. I don't find your case any more appealing than before, its just that I don't want to see streak lynched now and your wagon is the only way I can ensure that.

I'm not allowed to quote pm's, right? But yes, Squirell was my target last night...
Though I really hope you mean last 'game' night, and not actually LAST night.

I will put jeraado under more pressure, and hope for something good from him before deadline.

Since, Saf was on both wagons, I think that's lynch minus one, if you have a claim jeraado, now is the time. Deadline is tomorrow.

Streaker, have you targeted me at any point?

Also, don't suppose you picked violet at any point? Her science 'truthiness' seemed to have gotten more... vocal a few days in. :P

I still am at a loss as to what do to in regards to Jeraado. I don't think flavour speculation is enough to warrant someones lynch, I don't really consider it enough to make someone suspicious either. Knox, who knew more about his PM than we do, even stated that he believed Jeraado to be town. While we do need to get a case and a lynch in to get anywhere, I do think that it's an easy case for scum to ride under threat of idleness. I don't think there is time to salvage the day though, so it likely is for the best to go through with this lynch and see how this flips for tomorrow. I would really like to see him make a claim though, but I get the sense he hasn't been on in a while.

It's apparent that it's either Jeraado or bust. While I am still skeptical on the case on him at best, I do think that there is more value to what we can gain after the lynch than if we don't.
I'll just mention that I had checked out his account earlier as I was curious to when he was last on, it appeared he was on yesterday but said nothing in regards to this. Checking again it now appears that he was on a few hours ago but still has not spoken. This leaves doubt that we'll be getting anything out of him before deadline, and I'm not certain exactly how long we have before that limit passes so I'll not wait on it any longer.

I have been given the ability to vote now so I will use it.

Carlos Mencia never was a man who'd be afraid to delve into controversy. Loved by some, hated by many, disrespected by all - this was a good phrase that would have suited the man well. When the Apocalypse broke out, it was obvious to a lot of people, that it had to be his fault, as he survived. Carlos tried to rebuttle this by using logic, but alas to no avail.

Image

He was tied up to a chair and then asked to explain why would he cause an Apocalypse... Carlos defended himself well, but the hate was to great - there was always going to be just one outcome...

jeraado, Carlos Mencia - Comedian, has been lynched.

The night will last anywhere from 48 hours to 72 hours - please send me your actions.
