Hmm, I normally type 'c', and it autocompletes, and I could use 'o' or 'q' too... 'www' leads to the CC test site for me, strangely enough..

I also get conquerclub with c. But www now gives facebook, thanks to my gf...

you start checking CC maps where a certain city is.

mine has been a "favorites" button for a long time... and I generally omit the www as redundant anyway.

homepage is nothing, try a script that automatically opens your browser to cc whenever you boot...

Actually i have this, it is called firefox and i have it set so it start up a screen when booting up. Also it always shows the last closed page, which is CC so basicly i always get a fresh set of cc when i boot up my machine. But somehow i do not think thats what you are talking about..

No, I'm talking about an actual program that does nothing else but opens the CC page with your default browser. You can then put this program in your startup folder. Then, whenever you boot up, your browser gets automatically opened and CC page is loaded, and you can set another homepage if you want.

And this works regardless of browser, even if you update/change your browser, this still works.

It's a very small program, written in C#. Anyone want a copy?

When you use hotkeys on other websites. I should note that in my case those hotkeys are: R and N

When you start your day on CC by checking the forums, responding to various threads, and logging off... forgetting to check your games.

Maybe that's more a "you know you're obssessed with the conquer club forums when..." than a conquer club obsession generally.

Amen to this ^^^ I generally go straight to PMs and the forums and miss a few turns because I go complete logins without playing my games ;3

When you head out late at night and write "COF" on the back of your hand to remind yourself to pick up some coffee on your way home. Then you wake up the next morning, happen to look at your hand, and think to yourself, "Why the eff did I write Chariot of Fire on the back of my hand?" You only remember about 20 minutes later once that "COF" starts to kick in.

when there is a disaster in Japan and your first thought is "I wonder if there's a CC thread yet?"

OK, maybe I am not truly obsessed, my first thought was for my friends who have relatives in Japan.....
