Ok we all misplace things keys, wallets, remotes, and small children;
they always seem to just elude us.

What is the worst thing youve ever lost, and where did you end up finding it?

Do crazy stories count as answers?
Yes!!! Id love to hear how you accidently left your gf at the bar and took someone else home on accident. (especially if you got away with it cause she accidently went home with someone else )

Mine is pretty lame for today though:

I just bought a new laptop because the old ones battery doesnt charge
right, and plus it is getting old. So i was looking for it today but couldn't
seem to find it anywhere. I looked all over because i "cleaned" the appartement
or w.e. I finally gave up and went onto Conquerclub on my old computer.
My roomate got home and said he was off to take a shower, but he came back
with my laptop. He said, "Dude why was ur laptop in the laundry bin......... Lame,
yes I know a fail story, but lets start off slow here hahaha. Or, Not

OK - I have been forced, esp. since being a parent, to be far more organised. It goes against my nature, but if somebody doesn't try to organize things, we all end up looking for, well, every bloody thing. Even now you wouldn't call things "organized"...
In my natural state I am far more untidy/absent minded/chaotic. Back when I was single and living in a studio bedsit (i.e one room + kitchen + bathroom) you wouldn't have thought there was room to loose anything. But I managed to do so on a regular basis, especially my glasses.
I think the best one was when, after three weeks of trying to cope without 'em, I found 'em in a frying pan on top of the fridge...

Not me personally, but my mother found her eyeglasses in the freezer one time.

Nice!! She left them there cause it was a hot day duhhhh... One time, about 10 or so year ago
(when i was about 12-and-a-half), i went to bed one night on a new couch we had gotten
and i someone managed to misplace all my clothes except the second t-shirt i had on.
The clothes were never found for like a year, but one day we were playing indoor baseball,
(haha) and my friend hit a ball into the storage room ( i hadnt been in there much because
it was dark and scary but i was older now) I went to go pick up the ball and i noticed something underneath
one of the boxes. I lifted it up to find my spiderman UNDIES ( very cool ! i never did find those clothes though

Misplaced the key to my suitcase on a (work) "cruise" (on a boat, but no picnic!!!). Looked completely through my purse several times. Facing a month wearing only the clothes I had on, I wound up having to break the suitcase.. one of sentimental value to me (given to me by my grandparents). Then, to top it off... my keys were there in my purse all along!

(in honesty, I think they had a little "help"... there were some issues with having women on the boat at all).

A plane ticket at the Salt Lake City Airport. My pockets weren't quite deep enough and it ended up falling out. The problem was, I didn't realize it until I was nearly at the other end of the airport. Somehow, when I went back to look for it, I found it by a wall on the floor and no one had taken it.
