What's up with the "foe" list?

So I joined a speed game, [game]6189823[/game] with
Fuinc1 and won. I saw he had another game started and couldn't join because I am on his foe list. Really? Was I right to rate him as a "sore loser?"

Yes, it is offensive to heroin addicts. Remove the images instantly! (Although the heroin addicts probably won't mind, since they're too busy doing heroin)

You won 34 points from him, which is why you got foed. If you take more than 25 points from a player, they tend to get pissy and foe you.

I personally think the foe list is stupid. athletes don't get to 'foe' enemies and not play against them.

Just because you're 47stone and live on PC games and apparently seem to be talented, doesn't make you an Athlete? Your mum has been lying to you, ALOT.

I never meant to imply that we are athletes.
We are in a competition tho.
I don't think people in a competition should be able to pick and choose their opponents.
I play in a lot of poker tournaments ... i don't get to pick who can/cannot enter the tournament with me.
I just do not see the point of it.

Yeah, I recently "rediscovered" this site... If you look I don't think I even took a turn in my first game. Deadbeat, right off the bat.

well if you make everyone who beats once a foe youll soon have to play with yourself

but now i know what the foe button is for i might start using it for timewasters coz they're a blight on the site

tend too? a few pathetic individuals do that, not exactly en epidemic. Those that hold their points dearly usually adopt the more subtle method of "hiding" in private games of different sorts to not have to face the horror of getting their arses whipped by a Corporal first class.
Anyway, to answer the original question, just laugh at him ,shake your head and go spank the next officer you can find

Keep it up and you'll soon find that you'll be one yourself

Rate his as you see fit, that's your prerogative .

In the original case it was a speed game so you have to presume that said player didnt want to play the player again straight away and lose another 34 points. In most cases you get unfoed a few days down the line..(are you reading this camel toe). But some players go to the extreme of foeing you if your under a certain rank as they see their points as far to precious(they forget its just a game) the foeing list was invented as i see it to stop deadbeaters and rude opponents to play against you again but like everything else it is evolving.

On the other hand, you DO get to decide who you invite to your Friday night poker parties.
A game is a Friday night poker party; there are ALSO Conquer Club tournaments that the player can choose to play, or choose not to play, if they don't like the opponent(s) for whatever reason.
Another use of the foe list has been for those trying to get medals; once they BEAT a player, they foe (to increase the odds of getting enough unique defeats for the medal they're after) but the result is, they give the player they just beat no chance to win back points. Is that a "sore winner" or legitimate use of the foelist? Depends on one's perspective, doesn't it?
Should CC create a rule that any "game" is actually 3 games so that each player has a chance for best 2 out of 3?

Whenever someone foes me simply for being too low a rank I just foe them back. They aren't worth playing against.

Correction: Sore losers get pissy when lower ranked people beat them.
MOST players move on to another game.. sometimes even with the same person again. MOST people use the foe list rarely, mostly for those who have attitudes like "if you beat me, then I will foe you".
