Conquer Club

Alright so I'm new here and this is my third game and first non 2v2.During the game I realized I had overextended so I pulled my troop out of Taiwan and into Hawaii and the Philippines and informed James Bond that I was pulling out of Taiwan, which he needed but not to advance any further, this can all be seen in the log of the game. A few turns later I had ample reinforcements and a quick analysis showed that James Bond was the largest threat due to his closeness to my territories and number of troops, also his territories just looked juicy! So I invaded and pushed him back and he was not happy about this and accused me of breaking my agreement and left the game, or said he did. so my question is this, is what I did wrong?

imho, you had no agreement at all. You never explicitly offered James Bond a truce, and he never posted anything to accept it. Evidently James Bond thought you had a tacit agreement, but you can break these whenever you want.

There is no truce unless both parties agree to a truce. James-bond was in the wrong here.

IMHO, if the other player doesn't reply to your proposal, how can there be any agreement?
