yup. no one is that dumb, not even me! I know that the olympic torch is for the olympics. It is the competition between the US and the USSR, or Russia, or whatever the young people call it over who could get to the moon first. Karl Marx was the leader of Russia, Taft was the President of the US.

Are you really that idiotic? Do you know what that means? Seriously, it is not that hard to grasp. Spend more, which is putting more money through taxes and other things into the economy, which RAISES the economy, out of a recession. It worked in Australia, and now we're not in a recession.

See, this is the problem. Most people can only grasp the situation through analogies to personal economics, and so only consider solutions that would work on a personal level. Spending obviously wouldn't help on a personal level, because you are only responsible for yourself. When you're responsible for millions of people spending in a bad situation is sometimes a good thing.
