Yeah. So what are you doing for Valentine's Day? Spending it online? (I hope so)

My GF and I broke up. So I spent the money that I was going to spend on her to buy some new Disc Golf discs. I think that I am just as happy with either scenario. A girlfriend or new Disc Golf discs. Being 23 rocks.

In contrast, I'm old. I'm gonna take a nap, so that I'm better prepared to go to sleep for the night. <chuckle>

I'm going to see my girlfriend. But we won't be having sex, which kinda sucks... Oh well... I guess I'll have to settle for every weekday...

Who's Valentine? And why does s/he get a day? And why should I do anything for this person's day anyway? A day is just one revolution of the earth around its own axis, it's not like it could appreciate anything I do for it anyway.

That bitter over a lack of a girlfriend? Or is it sarcasm? My humor circuit seems broken today. On V-Day I will be working on a robot until the evening, and then I will go to my girlfriends house. Somehow she managed to get her parents out of the house.

Maybe your sarcasm-meter was overloaded. In any case, what prevents you from doing that any other day of the year?

Not much. We are both 18, so we still live with our parents. It makes things a bit more complicated.

Nothing, I could celebrate Christmas any other day of the year too.

Once you get married, there's nothing exciting. Dinner, card, book for the wife.

I bet divorce would be exciting in ways. Try that.

I took the girl I've been seeing out to dinner last night instead of Sunday. We'll still hang out tomorrow, but I'll cook instead of going out.
Let's start a list of good movies to watch with girls on Valentine's day. Here's two I've seen before that won't make me want to hang myself rather than watch again:
Love, Actually
Amelie
(add to the list, maybe help me think of something good I haven't seen before. AND NO NOT THAT FRUITY VAMPIRE MOVIE)

How about 10 Things I Hate About You? Or Underworld 1&2 (Ha! There is a romance sub plot in there!)? Or the remake of Friday the 13th, granted, the main love intrest get's skwered by a machete, but still.

a dozen roses and I'm cooking.
Got the roses for her today whilst buying ingredients for dinner and she has now told me i can go out on Sunday night to play poker down the pub!
I should buy flowers more often, I could probably get away with even more stuff.
