Well that pink crap hurt a lot of peoples eyes. Some of us PAY to be here. Yesterday was NOT a fun time for most to visit this site.

I see ronc8649 was guested for voicing his displeasure.

Used the "F" word a few times which is widely accepted by CC.

Made a "your gay" comment which is a lot milder than other names allowed to be slung around this site.

Suggested an activity be performed, which is way milder than somethings allowed to be posted on this site. Rutherfoo wall comes to mind.

But anyway the real reason for the guesting was because it was directed at CC. HUH. What a surprise.

FruitCake was also guested for a "piss off" comment about the pink love fest. Andy says it wasn't just that but I think that's probably not a true remark.

But anyway how about CC cut those who HATED that pink shit some slack. It's YOUR FAULT for the reaction to it.

Well what I'm saying is that pink was too much the first time and was still too much the 2nd time.

I'm glad my 25$ is coming due. Think I'll keep it.

Not justifying the bans per-se, but it is obvious they were given out for repetition of complaints, rather than any single complaint...though Im basing that on your explanation...not having researched it myself.

Of course my $25 wouldn't be missed nor would I be missed. Yes ronc was a bit verbal and repetitive.

But if this was operated as an actual business it would be a more enjoyable customer friendly site and peeps would be more willing to play nice and pay to be here.

If just a 1000 peeps who would pay to be premium aren't that is $25,000. That buys a lot of pizza.

Yep. I got a months notice it was coming due. I ignored it.

I made my feelings known on the dear ron thread. You're never going to win against moderators. It's the power the comic book guy in the Simpsons wishes he had.

Haha, I joined the day after jefjef. I guess that means I'm cooler than him.

This does burn me. They bounced Ron for the f word immediately but if you look in the cheat and abuse forum it's been 5 days and they still haven't bounced a player who uses the n word in his name. One of their toadies is already defending them.

I finally came to the conclusion that it is an absolute waste of time voicing complaints (whether politely or not) about the site administration. You just end up pissing yourself off, for in the end you will find yourself on a ban (again whether you go at it politely or not) and it without question hurts us more than it hurts them. The number of bans overall in the last few months also seems to have dropped off, which shows that a number of those on the hit list have been, effectively, hit while those of us that are left now bunker down and just accept how it is these days. I've certainly been given more slack to write off-topic ridiculousness since resigning myself to how it is and I genuinely appreciate the freedom I seem to have these days. I really couldn't write anything of note for about 4 months when I was taking them on as I would get banned for 'going off topic' with one humorous little post. Fun for me? No. Was it fair? Well, I could wield the weapon of public opinion, rabble rouse and all that, they could respond by making it impossible for me to write in a way that pleases me. I probably caused them a few headaches but in the end their weapon was stronger than mine and, as a thoroughly rational person, I admitted defeat.

And I'm happier for it.

Not to say I am happy to see Fc or Ron banned. I'm not. But I just don't see any point making even the slightest fuss about it.

20 young bucks smashed windows, splashed cars with red-paint, "protested this or that" at the Hudson Bay Ltd., sought to rock the Olympic dream and seven of them are in lock up. They'll get federal offenses if convicted (zero doubt that they won't) and good luck working for anything other than "Big Jim's Vacuum Emporium" down the road. And travel? The U.S.? The U.K.? "Excuse me sir, would you kindly drop your pants and bend over? We need to check you for... ahem... contraband"! And? The Olympics go on undeterred. Might have felt good for 25 minutes. But? In the end? Niddle. Except consequences.

Sucks though. I just thought: damn. In my six months here I haven't seen fruitcake post much. This is cool. And being in team games with ronc I've become dependent on the PM feature to fire off game numbers with thoughts and questions and the like.

ronc is all right. FC is all right. They getting guested is a bit touchy of the powers to be. Forum ban is one thing but this site is useless without PM or wall communication. Really kills the whole experience.

A perma banned individual recently set up a preemi account and I saw a few hours ago he was guested.

He wasn't posting or causing discomfort. He was just playing and enjoying his buds. CC needs to lighten up and better cater to us customers IMO.

The Admins only hear what they want to, even if you send an e-ticket. I was informed I wasn't allowed to buy back, and at least twice when I asked to discuss the issue with someone I wasn't given a chance. There's no such thing as reason to them, you'll just have to accept it eventually.
