How low can you go?

Although this thread is technically about how you can win at CC, I want to ask a question on how can you loose at CC... In other words, the ultimate lose... Absolute 0

. That's right, can a player reach 0 points? That would actually be an astonishing feat considering all of the odds against it. You would have to try to reach it. Currently, andyp2007 holds the lowest score of 11 last time I checked, but theoretically, if he played against others of the same score range as he, could he reach zero, or even get into the negatives? I'm pretty sure he's trying to loose his games b/c no one can really be that bad, but does anyone know if there's a lowness score limit?

I remember reading a thread quite a while back on this subject. Do a search, you should be able to find something.

Someone once tried to get a score of 1, back when the points taken per player wasn't capped at 100. IDK if they succeeded or not, but the rules were changed and they were (I think) banned.

It's possible to get very close to a 1% winrate and approach a score of 1 if you play with settings that you are just no good at. For example, attacking with all your troops on the map and using up every single one you get, especially in a no spoils game, is a way you can lose if/when you don't know what you're doing.
Once you get down below 300, it's hard to lose more than 1-2 points per game. Unless, that is, you play team games, which average the team's score and give everyone an equal cut of the point gain.

It is. Think about the score calculation. Winner's score / Loser's score x 20. If the loser's score were zero, this would hapen

Indeed. Remember also the maximum point transfer of 100 per opponent defeated as well.

It is actually loser's/winner's score x 20. But theoretically, if the loser had a score of 2 (what the lowest score is now, 9 points down from yesterday) and the winner had a score of like 3, then 2/3 = .666... x 20 = 13, which would put the winner at 16 and the looser at -11, unless there was an artificial limit. If you think about it there really has to be an artificial limit to how low you can go bc if not then say that same player with a score of -13 played another player with a score of 2 and lost again, then the player who won would lose 100 points ex. -13/2=6.5x20=-130. Similarly if the player with -13 won, then he would loose 3 points. So yea, a limit at 1 would make sense.

Right. Pardon my mistake.
You are right about the artificial limits. No one can ever have less than 1 point, and (as Andy just mentioned) no one can ever gain more than 100 points per opponent in a game.
