Conquer Club

I'll start off by saying this is the first tourney that I'm going to be running, so this means I'm going to do my best to be extra attentive to everyone's needs (^_^)

PREMIUM to 1st/2nd/3rd place.

This is going to be a 64-man/woman single elimination tournament which may be asking a lot, but I'd rather start of big.

Rules are as follows:
64 entrants
1v1v1v1, 4 player games
Standard Game Type
Sequential Game order
Escalating Spoils
Chained Reinforcements
Manual Deployment
Fog of war ON!

Maps as follows:
1st Round (16 games):= WW2 Iwo Jima - This should be quick in sorting out the good tacticians from the weaker players.
2nd Round (4 games) := WW2 Europe - A lot more strategy and planning involved in this one folks
Finals (1 game):= Waterloo - Attacks from range, across the map and more, are you the next Napoleon? - FINAL ROUND IS FLAT RATE SPOILS AND ADJACENT REINFORCEMENT

MINIMUM SCORE UPON ME SEEING YOUR REQUEST TO SIGN-UP IS 1200 If I see your request and your score has dropped below this, I'm afraid it needs to get back above it.

Sign-up via this thread or via pm on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS. I'll be trying to find 4 reserves for the first round, just in case, on the same first come first served basis.

Upon sign-ups being full and game's being created, I will send you a pm. You have 48 hours to join the game or face being automatically eliminated and a reserve taking your place.

I'm not sure what 1261 means but I'm a drunkmunky and in living up to my name, I'm drunk atm (I live in Scotland) so the first participant is you! You're almost guaranteed premium if you get into the final, something to think about!!!

you're in wercool, I just want to fill the 64 slots within the time frame, as this will be a regular tourney if I can get 64 players continuously. If I fill the 64 players required within a week or 2, I'll keep this going CONTINUOUSLY. That means once it's finish, I'll keep it a premium tourney started every time as soon as it's finish...so tell your friends, it's gonna be fun all the time (^_^)

*Edit* In my drunkenness last night, I didn't realise your score. As stated in the original post you require a score of AT LEAST 1200 dude, so I'm afraid I need to take you out of the line-up unless you can get it to above that before sign-ups are full.

Well seen as you ask, if this one works out ok...I'll probably do more than one tourney in the future. I'd like to keep this one going to keep with the grand strategy theme as these are all actual conflict maps and obviously winning a 'war' or battle takes strategy. However, chances are I'll probably change things about for any other tourneys I run as you say, not everyone likes fog so that would be variable, although I do like to have a theme to the maps I'd be choosing; for example chinese checkers, conquer 4 and maybe poker as they're all maps of games. But I'd be more than up for any suggestions for future tourneys (^_^)

yep, only single winners...single elimination, you win your map, you go onto the next 1v1v1v1, win that, and you're in the final.
