Congratulations to gas

I just reached 1000 posts this morning and since I haven't started a tourney in a while, I figured I'd use this as an excuse to do so. I really don't have the time to start another big tourney at the moment, so this will just be a really quick, 16 player bracket on a couple different maps I like.

anyone is welcome, you only need 1 spot open. This tourney will be superquick though, so I will be sticking to my rules for joining quickly.
Reserves will be taken, but will only be used for a no-show in the first round.

[spoiler=My rules]1 join your game within 48 hours. My current policy is to send a PM to everyone with all of the games in it, give everyone 36-48 hours to join their game, then send out a game invite, which automatically expires after 24 hours (this is a CC thing, not me). If, after the invite, you still haven't joined, you forfeit out of the tournament.
2 Once I send out the PM, the burden is on YOU to make sure you get in your game. If, for whatever reason, you can't get into your game, YOU have to tell ME.[/spoiler]

All matchups will be ONE 1v1 game, winner takes all. At the beginning of the tournament, I will determine seedings using random.org, and will use those seedings the whole way through. There will be no reseeding between rounds. Seedings will determine who you play just like any pro sports league, so the first round it's 1v16, 2v15, etc through 8v9.

okay, it appears mrman70 has left the site...after 2 days
yet he managed to get in my tourney that filled in less than 24 hours, and people wonder why TO's often don't let new recruits join

anyway, I guess I'm gonna have to stop trusting people to join. Since I didn't wait for reserves, punkskamonkey's on to round 2
