What's the foe list for exactly? Pansies scared to lose points?

I just joined a couple random speed games. I joined this one:

Game 7041973 1v1 vs. ۩░▒▓₪№™℮₪▓▒░۩

Pretty standard, I had about 3-4 speed games going: 2 doubles and 2 speed 1v1s.

A couple minutes after that game ends I'm looking for another 1v1 and join his game again. Right at the start he's says he should have foed me because he doesn't want to play me again.

Game 7042108 Then he says things like "cmon chicken" when I'm winning and is generally rude for someone I haven't said anything offensive to and have only played 1 game with, with 1 game in progress. At the end I called him a pansy cause that was the conclusion I came to.

I just foed you for this thread.

A number of people do use the Foe list as a means to 'punish' users that beat them---or perhaps more precisely phrased from the otherside, 'keep themselves safe' from losing again to a specific user. There are often other factors like whether the opponent was using what one thought were 'cheap tactics,' or was annoying in game chat during their win, etc.

Foe lists are to help make the game and forums more enjoyable.

Reasons I foe:

Cheaters. Those found guilty of or I suspect of cheating.

Secret diplomacy.

Racism & bigotry.

Multi account offenders. Specifically the premium ones.

Just plain old obnoxious pains in the ass.

Most peeps from France.

Those that make bull shit truces and those that are really crappy strategy players.

Some extreme severe ratings abusers.

Occasionally just to screw with someone.

But I do not foe because of dice or superior strategy.

Right there is the problem. Very few people like playing the same player/team repeatedly, unless it's part of a tournament or a series of "callout" games. I know that I get annoyed when I set up three public games and the same team joins them all.

If being on somebody's foe list bothers you, you should try to avoid playing them repeatedly, especially if you've just taken 24 points from them. I'm not advocating this practice, just stating the facts.

huh, it never occurred to me that would bug people. i like playing the same person/people repeatedly. helps me learn.

i have no foe list. i think it's silly.

Most of my foes are people who missed too many turns. I hate that, especially in a team game.

There are Way Too Many, whiny, arrogant, self-centered, immature, livin in their momma's basement, comic book reading cry babies on this site. This is a game, competitive as it may be, just play the damn game. And to all you fucks who love to put other players on the ignore list, grow up.

Wouldn't you be better off just showing your superiority and prowess by just winning and not whining?
