Conquer Club

The Redbirds jumped out to an early 5-0 lead, but the bulls tried to claw their way back into the game. They had a rally going in the 9th inning, but falling just short with only 2 runs. The Redbirds won 10-8 in an epic championship game! The fans got what they paid for!

[spoiler=Directions]This is my first tournament so bare with me as I run it.

Each participant will chose one of the 30 baseball teams, 2 AAA teams (the 2 teams in the championship last year).
It will be a 32 team bracket
The tournament will be single elimination.
You will be drawn into the bracket using random.org (no American and National league separation)
Each round will consist of a 9 inning game.
Each inning will be a map.
Each player will chose 4 different maps and their settings for that map. (no freestyle)
That will total 8 innings, alternating players maps.
The 9th inning will be Classic, escalating, sunny, auto, and chained
"Runs" will be assigned based on how fast you win the map. The loser will get 0 runs.
Turns 1-5 will equal 3 runs, Turns 6-8 will equal 2 runs, Turns 9-12 will equal 1 run, above turn 12 is 0 runs.
Please choose 1 of your maps as your bonus map, during this 1 inning you can receive more points for a win. If the other guy wins they won't receive extra points, only you can in your bonus inning.
For that bonus inning winning in turns 1-5 will equal 5 runs, Turns 6-8 will equal 3 runs, and Turns 9-12 will equal 2 runs. Above turn 12 will be 1 run.
At the end of the 9 innings whoever has more runs will win the game and advance to the next round.
If the game is tied we will go to extra innings and use the same settings as the 9th inning.
Same rules apply in extra innings so if no one wins in the first 12 turns we will go to another inning, and so on until someone wins.
Games will be sent out in 3's, so freemiums must keep 3 slots open.
You will have 48 hrs to join your games.

I also suggest letting two Minor League teams into the tourney--to make it even. Instead of having the two byes--your tourney and it is up to you, but that would be my suggestion. Or even two teams from the past --just something besides the byes. Hope I am not over stepping my bounds on this.
