Saxi, I'm a good fan of an accent. My favorite has to be any type of Italian. Maybe that just because my grandparent sound like they got off the boat yesterday. That and I associate an Italian accent with a massive amount of pasta, veal, sausage, and polenta. (btw I'm northern Italian which explains why it sounds so German)

Me too! Ol' Saxi has been in North America long enough that I (am told) have no accent at all left, but I love the many varieties of English.

I imagine Pedronicus as a rough, street scrapper, always getting into fisticuffs and jamajams and so on and so forth, then retiring for a pint of English lager while he watches rugby at some local public house, engaging in good-natured ribbing with his cohorts, then racing home on a Triumph motor scooter for a hearty dinner of shepherd's pie, knocking a quick one out to a picture of the Princess Royal and then going out for a nigthcap in Crystal Palace, raising all hell and such.

It's been nearly 20 years since I've been to Britain and I miss the Englishers much. I may disagree with them politically, but they have a charming lifestyle and I just want to eat it up! If ol' Saxi comes back in a second life I feel certain, verily, it will be as an Englisher.
