This video summed up my frustrations with the current group controlling Congress and the White House.

Didn't grow up in the Reagan era but listening to him really inspires. Yes, this is going to be my 2nd election voting and I can see how energized people are against the policies like the stimulus and health care.

In my neck of the woods, the biggest thing making people angry is this whole push on illegal immigration. Lately though the rhetoric has been directed towards the whole mosque issue at ground zero.

"The trouble with liberals is not that they are ignorant, it is that they know so much which isn't so".

... I liked that line, and the one about the fat man standing next to the thin one.

...

While my family usually votes Democrat, my parents told me they both voted for Reagan. They said the best line he had was when he wasn't going to expose the youth of his opponent. Even Mondale was laughing at that one. :D

I like this one: "The trouble with conservatives is not that they are ignorant of right and wrong, it is that they don't care either way."

But this one more: "The trouble with liberals and conservatives is that they fight each other, instead of the problems that face them both."

But this one really signifies the uselessness of such statements.

"The trouble with conservatives is they wear green hats."

No doubt some do, but it surely does not speak of all conservatives, as no statement really can speak of one group intelligently. Such statements are used by the ignorant, to help them cope with the very complicated issues facing them, and use them as a crutch to understand a world, they are simply too stupid to fully comprehend.
