Favorite NFL Team?

Which team is your favorite? Has this team always been your favorite? If not, why? Are you a front runner? Which team do you hate most? Why?

I have been a Chiefs fan since 1992, and they will always be my favorite as long as they reside in Kansas City. No other team has been my favorite. I HATE the Raiders, Broncos, Chargers, Cowboys, and Steelers. The first three are division rivals of the Chiefs, the Cowboys call themselves "America's Team". Well I am an American, and they sure as heck aren't my team. The Steelers are just arrogant as hell and I am convinced they had the refs in their pocket during their SB with Arizona. Horrible penalties called on Az all day, and none at all on Pittsburgh til the 4th quarter when the refs were trying to clean up their calling a little bit so the penalties didn't seem so lopsided. Arizona dominated that game. I'm not even a AZ fan, and had no interest in either team, but the penalties in that game were ridiculous. GO CHIEFS!!!

Well looks like I hate you.

Have pretty much always been a Bronocs fan..even though I've lived in New York my entire life. Kind of a long story. It's been a long as time since the Chiefs have been good though...

I'd pick the Destroyers if arena football counted. As for NFL, I generally cheer for the Steelers just cuz I have friends that do, but I could care less, honestly.

If nothing else, the Packers.

Living 2 hours away from Denver, all you hear about are "Broncos this!" and "Broncos that!"

They haven't been relevent since the 90s and can go suck it.

To be relevant you have to win a championship? They contest for the AFC West every year.

The St Louis Cardinals (aka the Arizona Cardinals).

Since about the third grade. Funny story...really cute girl moved to my hometown/school from St Louis. I was in love! She didn't, as far as I know, even give a whit about the NFL and never mind the Cardinals. But I was a fan then. And it just stuck, even though until Kurt Warner they were pretty much...well, awful.

Obviously not. <grin>

Jamie wrote:Which team do you hate most? Why?

None, really. I suppose if I HAD to pick a team, it might be either Oakland or New England...since I view both as less than ethical. But I love the Raider fans and their devotion, so it's hard for me to dislike them. And I'm rather lukewarm even in disliking New England. I guess I really only hate the teams who I'm up against in fantasy football. <grin>

See...this is proof of how bad the Cardinals have always been. Division rivals who hate the rest of the division don't even hate them. <grin>

(Yes, I know they're not in the division any more, but come on!)

Ok, so Broncos and as far as I can remember, yes. It happened when I was in second grade, when the Broncos won their second championship. We had to bet on who we think would win...the Broncos or the Falcons. I'm not 100% why I chose them, but I did and have stuck with them since.

One fail though: A few years ago, I asked for a Rod Smith jersey for Xmas. My mom told me they didn't have any more and got me a Jake Plummer jersey. I didn't have the heart to tell her how disappointed I was.

What the hell? Jamie is back?!?! Where did you go, why are you back, and... hi?

Detroit Lions. They got robbed last week, and looks like Philly finally found their groove in this game.

I remember the Giants having very little trouble with them. So thats why I don't include them on my hated team list haha.

Packers all the way, was slightly worried after the Vick sighting, but we just need a warm-up against Buffalo to get the confidence up... :)
