ion.What kind of music do you listen to?

classical, 80's, dark metal, and only outkast for rap

Classical, Oldies, Rock, Techno.

I listen to good music.

classical, classic hard rock, doo wop, some country, and a little Jazz.

I like both types; country and western!

...but seriously, I listen to most styles, except for manufactured pop, modern R&B, country & western or free-form jazz.

I listen to all the music. All of it.

Jazz, rhythm n' blues, r & b, hip hop, etc.

My favorite artists include Sade, Sammy Davis Junior, Billy Preston (The Real Beatle), Snoop D O Double G (and much of his illustrious Dawg Pound), Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Bob Marley, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder (The prophet musician) Louis Armstrong, PM Dawn and Hootie (but not his Blowfish).

So basically it doesn't matter what genre or era it came from as long as it has at least 1 black person in the band... and also Billy Preston?

Experimental techno, hiphop (particularly of the electro variety), jazz, a fair whop of 60s/70s German music, dub, ska, rave, punk.

I especially loved him as Apollo Creed.

American standards and showtunes, especially when composed by Kander & Ebb, Stephen Sondheim, George Gershwin and sung by Lena Horne, Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland, and Liza Minnelli

Everything and anything Lou Reed and Bruce Springsteen contribute to the world. When not listening to those prophets, I rock out to Violent Femmes, Meatloaf, Dropkick Murphys, and Aersomith and dance to Lady Gaga and Madonna.

Folk in its many incarnations (Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Bob Dylan, Peter, Paul & Mary, Indigo Girls, and Jewel) and the music of peacemakers and rebels (Bob Marley, Nina Simone, Joan Armatrading, Cyndi Lauper)

I also like hip hop at its best (Salt-n-Pepa, Jay-z), metal at its most indulgent (Poison and Skid Row), and country girls singing their hearts out (Loretta Lynn and Carrie Underwood)

I listen to a mix of old blues from the 20's and the 30's, some 'new old blues' when the artists got rediscovered---or artists that were inspired by those early blues.

Then I like to throw in some some indie-folk as of late.

And then some classical guitar.

And then some pop music from the 50's and 60's.

Anything that I consider as good. Usually, I prefer songs that have some sort of meaning and artistic value - you can find these types of songs in almost any genre, but probably the one I listen most would be Alternative Rock, although I absolutely love some of the classical music and oldies.

Favourite bands - Keane, Stereophonics, Kaiser Chefs, Weezer (Until recently), The Killers, The Beatles, Tears For Fears (well, some of it)...
