the internet makes it so easy to talk to people, even speak to them or see then on camera....but too bad it didn't make it easier to meet those people you become friends with!

the internet hasnt but other technology has, think about the fact that if you moved from New York to California 100 years ago that meant you would probably never see your family again...

I wouldnt want to meat the people shure it would be nice but what f I was a creeper then if we where to meat you would be dead that's Internet safety rule one.

Agreed. Making the arrangements, booking tickets and hotels, etc is so much easier to do online, especially when you're planning a trip abroad. The only real obstacles are lack of time and money, which can be the same whether they're friends you met online or in person.

One of the sites I'm on has a regular get together once a month. I've met lots of people I've only previously talked to on the interweb.
