I love him as an actor, but it doesn't look like he'll be around too much longer.

I've only seen him in the Hot Shots movies and Major League.

He makes me laugh and I enjoy his stuff. I don't care about the quality of the movies.

Charlie Sheen is the best. I don't care anything about his personal life, but when I hear about it...it makes me respect the man even more! Cocaine and Hookers? Come on...that is awesome! This whole CBS fiasco is stupid and people that call the man a lunatic are loons themselves! The man is incredibly intelligent, articulate, and gets more pussy than I would ever dream of. Charlie seems to be weird...but you have to understand he is REALLY FREAKIN' ANGRY! And this is just how the man is! Has nothing to do with him being crazy or on drugs.

The man's ego has no limits. And his show isn't that good.

The whole Charlie Sheen fiasco has me fascinated about "morality clauses" in performer contracts. I've signed my share of those, and I remember lots of crazy things I had to promise not to do, but I can't recall if being a nice little squishy was one of them.

what do you guys think about a studio being able to fire a performer because they violate a morality clause in their contract (which does not apply to Charlie Sheen, as his contract noticeably did not have such a clause)?

If actors/actresses (whatever) face as much rejection on their road to stardom as I did trying to write jokes, then I firmly believe that they are all crazy. That much pain would drive anyone crazy.* At least Charlie Sheen doesn't care to hide it. And he probably made a mint getting fired too.

Seriously, I feel sorry for the guy. He got the adulation for his show, his movies confused with respect and adulation for who he is as a person. Sadly, a lot of fans make that same mistake. (as do many people in all sorts of positions of some power and note).
