Trainee Triples V
Congratulations to the winners - whakamole, krikee & sirmium samurai
This tournament took place on the Flanders 1302 map.
This is a Triples tournament, with 8 teams (24 players in total).
All players must have <2000 points at sign-up (please post your points total).
At least two players per team must have < Silver Medal in Triples (i.e. Bronze or no medal - please post your triples medal status).
Any players not joining as a team will be divided into teams by random.org if any spaces are left (i.e. if there are 2 individuals and 8 teams joining then the 8 teams will get the slots - if 3 individuals have joined before the eighth team then they will get in first as a team) .[/b]
Freemiums welcome as long as you can play 2 -games-at-a-time.

First Round:
Two groups of four teams. Each team will play the other 3 teams in their group once. The two teams with most wins will progress. If there is a tie between teams for second place then a one-match play-off will occur between those teams (with escalating spoils). If more than two teams are tied then the play-off will be a doubles game involving all tied teams.
If there is a tie between two teams for first place then the team with the fastest win (fewest number of rounds) will win the group. If this fails to produce a winner then the winner of the group will be determined by random.org.
Semi-Finals:
Winners of each group will play the runners-up from the other group. 1 match.
Final:
The two semi-final winning teams will play one another. 1 match.

Players must have a 97% attendance record, have played a minimum 25 matches, and not have dropped out from one of my tournaments previously! Freemiums welcome, although beware that the tournament starts as soon as we have enough players and 3-games-at-a-time.
