Trainee Triples VI

Congratulations to the winners - Ickyketseddie, mickunited333 & Tomod

This tournament took place on the American Civil War map.

This is a Triples tournament, with 8 teams (24 players in total).

A team's average score must be <2001 points at sign-up (please post your points total).

Each team must have < 7 Medals in Triples between them (examples: 1 Gold (3), 1 Silver (2), 1 Bronze (1); 3 Silver (6); 2 Gold (6), 1 No Medal).

Any players not joining as a team will be divided into teams by random.org if any spaces are left (i.e. if there are 2 individuals and 8 teams joining then the 8 teams will get the slots - if 3 individuals have joined before the eighth team then they will get in first as a team) .

Freemiums welcome as long as you can play 2 -games-at-a-time.

Details:
[spoiler]First Round:
Two groups of four teams. Each team will play the other 3 teams in their group once. The two teams with most wins will progress. If there is a tie between teams for second place then a one-match play-off will occur between those teams (with escalating spoils). If more than two teams are tied then the play-off will be a doubles game involving all tied teams.

If there is a tie between two teams for first place then the team with the fastest win (fewest number of rounds) will win the group. If this fails to produce a winner then the winner of the group will be determined by random.org.

Semi-Finals:
Winners of each group will play the runners-up from the other group. 1 match.

Final:
The two semi-final winning teams will play one another. 1 match.[/spoiler]

Match Options
[spoiler]All matches will take place on the American Civil War map.

Matches will be Triples (obviously), Automatic and Sequential.
Matches will also involve No Spoils, Chained Reinforcements and Fog of War.
Play-offs matches will be Escalating (with the other settings as above).[/spoiler]

Players
[spoiler]There will be 24 players.

Each team must have < 7 Medals in Triples between them (examples: 1 Gold (3), 1 Silver (2), 1 Bronze (1); 3 Silver (6); 2 Gold (6), 1 No Medal) at the time of signing-up.

Players must have a 97% attendance record, have played a minimum 25 matches, and not have dropped out from one of my tournaments previously! Freemiums welcome, although beware that the tournament starts as soon as we have enough players and 2-games-at-a-time.

Players will have 24 hours to join their matches from when the joining PM and invite is sent. Failure to do so will result in a reserve being sought (harsh, I know).

At the start of the tournament players will be required to join 2 games at once. As soon as one of these games is complete they will be required to join a third game. For the sem-final and final stages only one free slot is required.[/spoiler]

Reserves
[spoiler]All reserves will be sent a PM when an opening occurs. The first reserve to respond will gain a place.[/spoiler]

Joining Matches
[spoiler]Players will be informed when they have a match and will have 24 hours to join. If they fail to do so then they will be ejected from the tournament and a reserve will replace them.[/spoiler]

In your post you say that freemiums need to be able to play 2 games and then later you say 3.

Sorry - it is just 2-games-at-once if there are freemiums (well spotted - correction made above).
