Why were they merged/locked?

Not enough room for political masturbating in here? We definitely need some more asinine threads about american politics/economics, but a couple of light hearted fun threads ... Oh noooo, none of that here. This shit is serious business ...

the worst part is that the "global mods" don't even post explanations.

at least in the funny parody threads, interesting discussion takes place... I don't even go into political threads anymore... they're just dudes showing off their political e-penis'...

for example: the jon stewart on fox news thread i posted was to simply discuss his points... it turned into "how is liberal bias different than conservative bias? discuss"

and when i want to talk about race on the conquerclub forums... it gets merged/locked... even though i'm trying to promote a diverse community, because apparently my other posts, which are meant to be taken as jokes, are considered bigotry.

forget gimpslave he/she/it has likely moved on, and in likelyhood doesn't care about the pathetic bleating going on supposedly in his name..... r2d2 or what ever his name is, has made a smug little post in one of the locked threads(demonfork op from memory). Read it last night I think. Paraphrased. - We the global mods, have become the moral police, and don't believe that the paying or non paying members of cc deserve a place to let of steam and be childish, it offends our ultra right wing humorless brand of lutheran christian fundamentalist brain washing moral tupor. love you clappy, I'm assuming that you had no part in the iron fist approach to moderation(nothing moderate about it) that has over taken the kitty litter box in the past 24hrs or so.

You noticed it as well, eh? This place used to be full of lively discussion on such a variety of subjects. Parodies were just par for the course and everyone seemed to have a good time with them. Yeah, I wish they'd get rid of that kid as well. His intentions are good but he's not old enough to show good judgment yet.
