I mean, I love the 5k...but anything longer I just hate. Is it wrong to hate certain races? I guess I hate shorter ones too...like the 100m...that's just too short. 5k is where it's at.

Talk about a race I hate... marathon's are horrible. I can't imagine why anybody would like that kind of race.

I'm going to run my first marathon next June. I've ran 2 half marathons this year. It's my favorite race ;) .

Actually I like almost all races. 100 m to 43 km. I'm not too fond of the 60 m race though, I consider it an inferior race.

I never understood the arms race. Like when there was a proper Russia. Most of us, if we're lucky, start off with two. It was always going to be a draw. Octopus don't count.

I don't care for anything longer than 200m, myself. however, I was always into long jumps, not running.

That's inappropriate.
EDIT: Actually....I'm not sure if it is. I could just as likely say:
did I already say whitestazn88's family? I hate them.
and I'm not sure if that's inappropriate...

Swimming (although I love it) and all its 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m & 1500m distances incorporating four (!) different disciplines. That's 34 gold medals up for grabs (17 men, 17 women). Compare that with track events - mankind's natural way to move about this Earth - and there are just 26 for both men and women (29 if you include walking!). So way more medals are up for grabs for moving through water in an array of different styles than there are for moving over land. Go figure.

If we're going to have butterfly and other crazy shit that you'll never ever witness on any beach worldwide, why not have skipping, backwards running, hopping, crawling and other track events that all of us, as humans, have actually experienced at some time in our lives?

Answer? Probably because white people excel in the pool and America (let's not forget the rule changes re tennis & basketball) has more pools per capita than anywhere else.

Unlike horses we pretty much only have two styles of moving around on the ground. Walking and running. So that's why there are more medals for WATER SPORTS. You can get so creative with WATER SPORTS. I love WATER SPORTS. I think I need to go pee now, does anyone want to join me  ?

I like to get down in the blocks, and sprint away for 100 metres after the gun goes bang! then carry on jogging after the 100 metres for just over 26 miles.

This is what's known as a mixed race.
