After some consideration I will start Newcomers cup sooner
then I anticipated so any new/er clan can prepare and get
a war/s under belt before the start of Conquerors Cup.

OPEN TO:
-any new clan without any finished wars-any spot is primarly open for them
-any low/lower ranked clan (ranked 21 or lower) that wants to prove themselves-they fill the rest of open spots
-maximum of 16 clans signed up to 26th October


[spoiler=general guidelines]1.This game is about fun and enjoyment and it should stay so. Any problem should be easily overcome and I don't want any of the wars to become flame war. Play fair and don't get unreasonable.

2.This is Newcomers Cup, so if any clan is a bit late or slow on joining, don't hold it against them. Most are here to learn before thrown to wolves.

3.Except me there are always CDs to turn on.

4.I will updated the thread as soon as I can with all the results.

5.I am easy going guy and believe that going for any punishment is the last resort, as I said at start, this is game and lets try to have some fun, all issues can be dealt in friendly manner.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Rules of engagement]1. Each clan member can only participate in 15 games per clan war
2. Wars are to be played in 2 sets:
1st set only home games from higher seeded clan
2nd set only home games from lower seeded clan
3.Each map can only be used twice per clan per clan war but can only be used once per game type (i.e. once for triples and once for quads)
4.There will be no freestyle, speed, manual deployments, beta maps, or nuclear spoils games allowed
5.12 H agreement is not requirement, but can be negotiated by engaging clans[/spoiler]

a)Algorithm of 400 Clan Ranking
b)random[/spoiler]

[spoiler=distribution of games per round]Round 1:
higher ranked clan 20 games (6 dubs+7 trips+7 quads)
lower ranked clan 21 games (6 dubs+7 trips+7 quads+1 game of choice)

Round 2:
higher ranked clan 21 games (6 dubs+7 trips+7 quads+1 game of choice)
lower ranked clan 22 games (6 dubs+7 trips+7 quads+2 games of choice)

Round 3:
higher ranked clan 22 games (6 dubs+7 trips+7 quads+2 games of choice)
lower ranked clan 23 games (6 dubs+7 trips+7 quads+3 games of choice)

Finals:
higher ranked clan 23 games (6 dubs+7 trips+7 quads+3 games of choice)
lower ranked clan 24 games (6 dubs+7 trips+7 quads+4 games of choice)[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Organization]For each clan war, the higher seeded clan will setup a thread to run that particular match.When asking for privileges, just stay that this clan war is part of Newcomers Cup.

In each clan challenge thread. A list of players participating for each clan should be kept up along with a running tally of how many games each player has played in. If someone feels a player has violated the number of games they are allowed to participate in, please bring it to my attention. If they are found in violation, the opposing team will get to pick any games from the last batch played equal to the number of games the went over the limit to restart without that player participating.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=conflicts]The 1st step is to work it out between yourselves, next step is me and last would be CDs.

When sending and joining be careful about restrictions from Rules of Engagement.

Please do not join games later then 5 days.

For using maps more the stated, the other team will choose map and settings to replace the last joined game/s.

For excessive use of players, the other team gets to which games they wish to replace, again by choosing map and settings themselves.

If at any time anyone of you needs some time ask!!

All complaints are to be looked up in case by case fashion.[/spoiler]

rofl this is the best laugh of the week. let me see. koa apart from 1 challenge via grim reapers (just after a major reshuffle of players) have you actually faced a clan in a proper war that are older than 1 month or have 1 complete challenge behind them.

KOA has more talent then you give it credit for, regardless of what our first few wars have shown. Our team games aren't limited to clan wars, we know where we stand.

lol dont flatter yourself icepack. my comment was just a bit of fun banter for the thread after what i seen in a war thread. what i mean is you are pronouncing yourself as winners when you haven't really faced a established clan. in a proper war yet. Either way, it's a new comers cup. How many ESTABLISED clans are you expecting to sign up to a NEW clan cup?
