The accused are suspected of: Bigotry and Holding Hostage

BIGOTRY:
Ok, in this game starx is getting ridiculously good dice and mine are crappy. I jokingly say something about him hacking the site to help his dice. He then proceeds to call me a "nigg." I am super pissed at this. -_-

HOLDING HOSTAGE:
After he reduces me down to one troop in one territory with 6 surrounding me, I begin my turn and reduce his size down to 4. His next turn, instead of defeating me, he attacks a neutral somewhere else on the map. This is just like a basketball game. Within the last 10 seconds of the game, if you are ahead by 26 points, then you don't try to score again, do you? This is what is happening here. He is trying to gain many troops and bonuses while I can do nothing.

as far as holding hostage is concerned, the game only went 6 rounds. in fact the whole game only lasted about a half an hour......i believe he will be cleared of that claim.

For 2 straight turns he left me alone until he could get all the bonuses he could. That, to me, is holding hostage.

I understand your point of view. But, he got truckloads of troops per turn. And it was unlimited, so he could have moved any of his troops to border me, which he only moved 6 before he held me hostage. I attacked and reduced it to 4. Then on his next turn, he attacked some neutrals to gain more bonus troops. I deployed 3 troops and ended my turn. He then captured all of the neutrals he could to get a set of spoils and all of the bonuses. He put all the remaining troops next to me.

So it's not like he didn't already get enough troops to defeat me, he had to prolong it, which is holding hostage.

prolonging the game with 2 rounds is not yet holding you hostage, especially when the game only lasted half an hour. I also think the the possibility that starx hacked the website is very small. In my opinion the is just thinking he's the man by saying things like that.
I'm pretty sure he won't get a warning for holding you hostage, I wonder what they are going to do about him calling you a "nigg"

This looks like sour grapes to me. You posted this after one round where he attacked a neutral instead of you. Look at the time stamps. Also you should have called him on both these things in game chat rather than running here far too quickly imo. As for the implication that he is trying to annoy you because you are a high ranked player well thats just hilarious.

There is one possible infraction here - the n word. All the rest is irrelevant.

Ok, I've look at you upper-ranked people and I have come to realize that the holding hostage is more than just 2 rounds. I didn't know that there was a round limit on it, and would be willing to drop it if someone would tell me what the specific round limit is for holding hostage.

Sorry General2112, but in this case he is using it as the N-bomb. Read the context in which it is being used.
He will be busted for bigotry.

I think the definition is when someone avoids ending the game intentionally to prevent a freemium from joining another game or force a deadbeat in a speed game. There are legitimate reasons for not ending a game when you can like when learning a map but a good rule of thumb is to rely on common sense. For example if the game has ended with no evidence that the offender was aware of your C&A report then you are probably overreacting.

Ok, you're right. I had never seen anything about holding hostage, so I just thought it was. Thank you, I won't hold that aginst him. However, the Bigotry, I will keep.

will he be busted, that is my main question. I understand he upset you but sometimes somebody has to be the bigger man and walk away.

I might seem like a difficult thing to do, but people like me respect you for it.
