The Rules
Borrowed from various predecessors. Credit granted where credit is due.

1. I am the mod, ergo I am God in this thread. I am omnipresent, I am omniscient, I am omnipotent. Therefore I also have the potency of making mistakes. Point them out and I will do my best to correct them. Other than that, I am always right, and I always have the right of the last word.

2. Editing and/or removing posts is allowed as long as I don’t find out. If I do, you will invoke the wrath of the mod, so I suggest you don't.

3. Do not quote any PM's you receive from the moderator or another player. DO NOT QUOTE. I don't want to see win conditions, special password phrases, nor the pm's you got from your scumbuddy because you're butthurt. There are only four exceptions. You can state your role. You can state your name. You can state that you are town, if you think it helps. You can also lie about any of these three things. Quoting anything else will invoke the wrath of the mod.

4. The game will not be discussed outside this thread. Not even on live chat. Doing so invokes the wrath of the mod.

5. Votes and unvotes BOLD and in a fancy (legible) color. I will try to pick up every vote I see but I can't read every one of your heated discussions, so please make clear who you're voting.

6. Lynching requires a majority of the town vote, once the majority has been reached any unvotes will not be counted. For even numbers, half players alive +1. For odd numbers, half players alive rounded up. Deadlining means a coinflip, resulting in either no lynch or highest votes.

7. You may vote ‘no lynch’ to end the day without a death.

8. Maximum length of game days is 14 actual days.

9. Maximum length of game nights is 5 actual days.

10. Dead men tell no tales. “You suck”, “I dreamed it would end this way” or “SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE” is allowed, but keep it down, you're dead. Do not provoke the wrath of the mod.

11. I like active games, and active games require active players. People who don’t post for a whole game day invoke the wrath of the mod and will hopefully be replaced.

12. No posting at night. The occasional joke is acceptable and appreciated but anything of substance will invoke the wrath of the mod. I decide what substance means.

13. Everyone knows Alison is the hottest.

14. In the exceptional case that my role pm is unclear or you’re not sure what the hell you’re doing, you can always PM me with questions.

15. Watch those claims, because I don't want the flavour to interfere overly much with the game. I didn't make the game so that everyone could claim and the mafia would be screwed right away.

16. Scenes may include hints, or they may have nothing to do with the game. They do not necessarily represent what happened during the night. I am not responsible for any misinterpretations.
