Your organisation has finally received sufficient intel to build a picture of US subversion of Japo-Chinese development of electric cars. Protection of the oil industry has led to US intelligence agencies focussing on sabotaging eastern development of efficient electric vehicles.
A number of key targets have been identified, believed to be responsible for the recent disappearance of top electro-automotive scientists.
Your task is to eliminate the targets.
Their whereabouts will be communicated to you by top secret information systems.
The services of any agents succesful in any of the initial missions will be retained for the subsequent missions.
Details of your first two missions will be provided to you in some kind of untraceable anonymous fashion (in keeping with the need for secrecy) – only those successful in competing one of these missions will be enscripted for further missions (unless there is an insufficient number of agents for further missions, in which case surviving unsuccessful agent will be given an additional mission to demonstrate their competence)..

You will receive details of further targets:
- Key US Oil Industry agents and politicians are known to be attending an energy summit in San Marino.
- Others are making deals with the Turkish government to quell the uprising in return for a long-term secret agreement on oil and roadblocking electric vehicle imports.
- A bunch of other Oil Industry officials are meeting in Portland, USA, to finalise their arrangements to keep pro-oil protagonists in power in US administration.
Agent, eliminating these targets will significantly increase your profile.
Further instructions will be provided at the airport - your contact will be wearing a Hawaii t-shirt, baseball cap, psychedelic swimming shorts and sandals."
You throw the phone out of the window and hear the commotion as it explodes on the busy street below ...

We have recently received excellent intelligence from our double-agents:
- The US Network of spies are currently traveling around Asia seeking identified targets to sabotage political support for the electromotive industry.
Agent, eliminating our enemy's targets will bring significant rewards.
Further instructions will be provided at the railway station - your contact will be near the end of the no.3 platform wearing a red football t-shirt and spotting trains.

This tournament is the third Eastern Special Agent tournament, and the eleventh in a series of Special Agent assassin tournaments.
The tournament follows an ‘evolving storyline’ format. It is open to all players with a decent attendance record.

Match Options
[spoiler]Mission will take place on maps to be revealed through a secret message system as the storyline evolves …
Matches will be Assassin, Automatic and Sequential with a 30-Round Limit.
As the world of espionage is unpredictable and secretive, missions will also involve Flat Rate Spoils, Adjacent Reinforcements and Fog of War.[/spoiler]
Agents
[spoiler]There will be 20 agents.
Agents must have a 97% attendance record, have played a minimum 25 matches, and not have dropped out from one of my tournaments previously! Freemium agents cannot join unless they have three free slots at all times.
Agents will have 24 hours to join their matches from when the joining PM is sent. Failure to do so will result in a reserve being sought (harsh, I know).[/spoiler]
Mission Allocation
[spoiler]Agents will be allocated to missions according to random.org.[/spoiler]
Reserves
[spoiler]All reserves will be sent a PM when an opening occurs. The first reserve to respond will gain a place.
In the final missions, reserves will not be sought. If agents are missing then matches will take place with one fewer player than planned.[/spoiler]
Joining Matches
[spoiler]Agents will be informed when they have a match and will have 24 hours to join. If they fail to do so then they will be ejected from the tournament and a reserve will replace them.[/spoiler]
Partnerships / Regular opponents
[spoiler]Agents must inform the tournament organiser if they have a regular partner or opponent that is also featuring in the tournament. The organizer can then, wherever possible, ensure these comrades do not play together to avoid any potential claims of foul play by other players.
If reports of suspected foul play are made and the agents in question have not declared that they are regular partners / opponents then they will be both be ejected from the tournament without question or the need for irrefutable evidence.[/spoiler]
