Rules of Engagement
[spoiler]

• Each clan member can only participate in 15 games per clan war
• Each map can only be used twice per clan per clan war but can only be used once per game type
  (i.e. once for triples and once for quads)
• Not allowed - freestyle, speed, manual deployments, beta maps, no reinforcements, zombie, nukes
• Trench is allowed in the first set of games, but not in the second set and must have 20 round limit
• 12hr Fog Rule is enforced, any violators must reveal their move and any hidden territories
• Unlimited forts are allowed in quads only
• Hive, Doodle Earth and Luxembourg are not allowed
• Random map can be used infinitely

There are no specific parameters by the poll, just an estimate. Yours would count as Aeternus by a molehill, but I think you're being too conservative.

@UM8, why all the flat rate? I knew it was coming anyway, but I just don't see the reasoning behind it. Is it to make things as luck based as possible and hope it goes your way? Or perhaps just because it rhymes with your clan name? Some insight would be lovely.

I'm disappointed nobody replied to this.

Aeternus take a two game lead on UM8 home maps, even with this ridiculous flat rate. The second set is due to be exchanged on Monday.

Sorry, I've been traveling overseas and I only have forums bookmarked on my personal computer.

We picked flat spoils as something in-between a grind-it-out no spoils game and a huge hail-mary escalating game.

I was mostly being sarcastic mate, it's all good. I do believe flat rate brings a lot more luck to the table though, as do most people.

Luck comes in good and bad...all depends on how you use what you have...whether spoils or no spoils...IMHO
Anyway, may the best come out on top (or the luckiest).

Haha, we've always kept the clan small mate. Not to worry though, we're still on track to win this war. Currently looking around 21-12 with a few leaning either way.

Looks like 25-14 with a couple undecided.

The 21st win has come in, confirming Aeternus will advance to the final! Looks like we'll probably finish on 25 or 26.
