Just wondering, been playing for sometime now (About 7 or so months) does anyone on CC play the game, theres surly some1 else that has it .

I'll bet that almost every american on CC knows about counterstrike...

and I myself just got into it, been playing version 1.6 for about a week so I'm not so great...

always wanted to but never got round to it.

well I never thought there was such a big difference between any versions and my brother was the one who bought it

actually I would have started a while ago, but I didn't cuz I was afraid I would get addicted... turns out that its fun but not so addicting

Yeah, gets pretty adicting sometimes though, i can sometimes play for 7 hours in a row, easy lol. Bad thing is though, when you stand up you ass hurts a treat, i mean like real mega pain lol


And theres a pretty big difference, lots more maps on source, and much better graphics, makes for better play.

Me too... i found a torrent where i could download CSS off when i saw this topic. But apparently there are problems with the online version of CSS whith the download...

Is CSS the latest version of counterstrike? Its sounds like its been around for a couple years now.

dunno the minimum connection, I have comcast and it works fine, and I think DSL will work but you might lag atleast once in a while... if you're pushing it with a low budget connection I would atleast suggest getting a good Graphics Card for gaming to minimize the lag...

yeah there was 1stly cs with all them shit versions, then cs:z (zero) then source, which is sweet as, ive just bought a server aswel

playing since CS 1.3, but stopped playing about a year ago, took way too much time and the addiction was bad. I knew it was getting bad when my friends would call to go out for drinks on a Fri night but I would stay in and play...

But I was up to a 3:1 Kill/death ratio.

I play 1.6. My computer is shiity and my bro won't let me use the laptop so I can't play source. I suck at it anyways, so w.e.

i play 1.6, i heard the physics and stuff on source suck. i've seen people die from flash bangs in source.

Flash bang? you kidding me. Theres only one way you can die from a flash bang, thats if your on 1hp and it hits your head in the critical point, which is impossible without a hack basicly, and ive never seen that happen anyway.

I used to play, about 4 years ago. Stopped when the little punks started piling into the game and when I got sick of being accused of cheating just because I was a female who happened to kick ass at the game
