Schedule and Round Breakdown
Two rounds -
Round 1 to be exchanged by 27th August 23:59 CCT
Round 2 to be exchanged by 5th September 23:59 CCT.
Clans will have 1 week to fill games (both home and away).
- Round One - 4 dubs, 5 trips, 5 quads chosen by each clan
- Round Two - 5 dubs, 4 trips, 4 quads, tie breaker (Trips Classic, no spoils, chained, sunny created by FALL)
War Terms
- NO manual, freestyle, speed, beta maps, zombie spoils or "no reinforcements"
- Trench is permitted in a maximum of 60% of home games, with round limit 20, 50 or 100.
- Each map can only be used twice per clan and only once per game type (dubs/trips/quads)
EDITED:
- Each clan member can participate in a max of 18 games (excluding tie-breaker)
- Each clan member can participate in a max of 20 games (excluding tie-breaker)
- 12 Hour Fog of War Rule will be in effect :
The player with first turn must wait 12 hours before playing a first turn that would alter the opposing team's view of the map. ( doesn't matter if it's team 1or team 2). If the first player didn't respect the fog rule, his team must reveal information that were available to the other team ( not only regions taken, but also regions that the other teams were able to see before first turn was taken) within 12h first turn being taken . ( => team 2 should get the info with at least 12h before they have to play)
if rule is broken, opponent team may ask for a rematch, but must do so before the beginning of 2nd round.
- New settings that are implemented after the start of the Cup will be excluded from wars

I noticed I made a mistake, I copied some rule from previous round, therefore OP says max game per player = 18, but for this round it should be 20.
I assume we'll use 20 as per the tournament rule.

Any early thoughts or predictions? I've had a look at some of the games and it looks like Fallen has some wins coming and may be roughly even, but I have not attempted to go through each game in detail.

LHDD had the worst schedule…first match against lions….had to put effort and a very unfair match for them….then ascension…
Next fall…honestly if they got through this while doing clan league/ random league/ etc that’s crazy and would be the most impressive push…* S&M I believe went through ascension, LHDD, tofu one year for the cup which I felt was one of the most dominate S&M wins. But if LHDD pulled off this year cup they would deserve the title.
Alas:
I think fall is way ahead and will be in the finals…but LHDD has studs and should be proud going through that gauntlet.

I can only say what it look like in games I'm in as I haven't looked around outside. In fact I came to this thread hoping to see that someone knew how we were doing overall
So for anyone interested, I'm in 19 games. I have those down as 9 Fall, 4 LHDD, 6 tied or moderate leans.
Of the 6 close games, Fall have the stronger position. 4 leaning towards us, one quite strongly so, and the last two tied, with no further leans to LHDD. So of those 6, I think I expect a 4-2 to Fall (I'm sure they will flip one of those leaning towards us, and the 2 50/50's, well, one each!)
Also of the 9 wins, it's certainly possible that one or two of them could turn around. I've counted it as a "win" if I feel it is a 90% or greater chance of winning. So as there are more games where we are winning, it's statistically more likely that one of them will flip to LHDD (and looking at the games, the 4 I've given to LHDD are entirely over, we ain't flippin' those)! These games all definitely still have fight left in them.
Score prediction for games I'm in is Fall 13 - 6 LHDD. (12-7 is probably more likely than 14-5). I'd be quite surprised for the score to finish outside of that boundary, although it's certainly possible. And I'd monumentally impressed if LHDD do pull it around and take 8 or more from those games.
They definitely have the skill level to pull out such a turnaround if we take our eyes off the ball
Now.... if someone can tell me how it's going in games I'm not in!!!

Don't you have your own internal FALL update ?
it's as you said anyway, you took a big lead in the first set.
We're doing a bit better in the 2nd but given the lead that you have we need a miracle to win this.

lol, I often have NFI what's going on. I just turn up and play and someone tells me at the end if we won

Somehow I was thinking 26 wins were required when I posted and I have you at 25. ( leads included ).
It's a bit less desperate that what I was saying. I have it at 25 FALL -20 LHDD now. So on the 10 remaining games you need to take 3 while we need to take 8/10.
Still fighting indeed.
