Conquer Club

I was thinking...hey Colman can do it in the Foundry right? So why not here? Maybe this could be a team effort. Some features I was thinking of were listing of new tourneys open for registration, highlights of recent action in some ongoing tournaments, and recently finished tournaments. Maybe even "Tourney Organizer of the Month" where a certain organizer answers questions or something?

What do you guys think?

Good to see that people are interested. I was thinking one every 2 weeks, with the following sections:

New Tournaments - a section for tournaments that have just opened registration

Starting Tournaments - for tournaments that recently filled up

Highlights - every month I'll pick 5 random tournaments and show the recent highlights and standings

Final Matches - any tournament in it's final game will be featured here. A link to the game will be placed here

Featured Organizer - here will be a short question and answer session with a featured organizer for that issue.

Anything else?

Some possible features (add in a LOT more work):

1) Player/Team of the Month [best win/loss ratio in tournaments - not necessarily a champion (at least 3+ wins)].

2) Loser of the Month [worst win/loss ratio in tournaments - at least 3+ losses]

Will you differentiate between Tournaments (max 20 games/player) and Leagues (min 10 games/player)?

I'll think about the win/loser thing. Maybe start everyone at even from now and record stats from then on.

With every tourney or league comes a description under it.

I wonder if you could win a mini tournament (i.e. Point Grabbers) and still end up as the loser of the month?

...

EDIT: I think I figured out how - win Battle Royale and lose every other tournament !!!


EDIT2: I wonder if the mods know when there's going to be a Battle Royale. Maybe they'd want to publish a potential week (or even 3 day window) when it would occur, but not the actual day/time.
