I am proud to announce our newest Tournament Director - Optimus Prime.

As you may have noticed, AK_Iceman is on vacation and Hugh.G.Reaction is unable to be as active as usual.

When I asked for recommendations for TD from the community, the overwhelming majority of people sent in Optimus Prime's name and with good reason, but, I wont keep you any longer, I'm sure you all know him and his tournaments.

Remember, he is still a member just like you. Treat him well and give him some slack if you may not agree with him. We all do our best

Thanks, Twill, and thanks to all of those nameless individuals out there that apparently thought I could do some good.

I look forward to working with all of you and getting some mind-blowing tournaments out of the gates.

Great news and no better man. My one tiny concern is that now that he has an admin role he will stop churning out such excellent tournaments himself, although knowing optimus that is highly unlikely.

Don't count on the tournaments disappearing. I may cut it down to 4-6 at a time, but they will always be there. My opinion is that there should definitely be Tournament Directors that run tournaments as well.

We'll see if we can't get some doozy's up and running in the not too distant future.

Night - I'm guessing that OPie came up with his own title. If you look at the other moderators, it seems like they all had a chance to "be creative" with their titles. Some just decided to keep it simple and direct (the default title).

Welcome aboard Optimus, it'll be good to have an experienced organizer on the team.

Actually, Twill was the one that suggested it, but I'm contemplating others if I can find something better, you know, something like "Holder of the Matrix of Tournament Power" or someting.
