Hi all,

Gloryordeath wanted to try out some trips games with me and American_Ninja. He's a little crazy and the doctors say to humor him whenever possible. Oh...and not make loud noises around him as it makes him very jumpy.

Anyway, here's 5 trips games for any interested parties:

1277907 - Asia/Seq/Flat/Chained
1277912 - SanFran/Seq/Flat/Chained
1277915 - Middle Earth/Seq/Flat/Chained
1277916 - Great Lakes/Seq/Flat/Chained
1277923 - Europe/Seq/Flat/Chained

Yeah, it'd be swell if I could get my points back up to where they were. I've basically been playing just doubles with the Ninja and games with the Xi/Elvis folks.

The Xi/Elvis games are brutal on my points. If anyone wonders if rank really indicates skill exclusively, I invite them to spend a few weeks in the company of gangus, glide, kool, gix and others. Yeesh.

I do miss playing games with you all, though. Good games, good chat, good times. Public games with jackasses almost soured me on the place. I prefer the jackasses I know and love.

Damn, playing that many public team games, you'd think your score would be a bit higher.

But you make a good point about rank. Sure, it can be a decent yardstick of skill, but there are an awful lot of people on here that aren't on the first page, yet are totally fucking lethal. A certain forum dominatrix comes to mind...

Oh yeah, before we hooked up for some games I rarely tried any map other than Classic. Now I give most of them a fair shot. I haven't quite made the jump away from Unlimited Fort yet though. I also still can't live without my cards.

Heh. I am to the point where unlimited fort isnt all that fun, anymore. I went through an adjacent phase, but have settled into chained as the fort of choice.

We should play some games again sometime. I remember those being fun.

You might think my score would be higher. Actually, what seems to happen is I build a bit in doubles and then lose them back in 5 or 6 player singles.

I have had the opportunity to remove Wicked from a game at least once...and I would play her again if I ever got the invite to a game with her. But, yeah, she is downright evil in the game. I respect that.

But back to the point - anyone want to play trips ? These games are still open!
