I voted for 88. In 1987 I discovered ecstacy, but in 88 I was going to some of the best raves ever plus I was going out with three different girls all at the same time. Happy days.

funny, i put down 88 too, before i saw a lot of these responses. 88 was the year i first discovered Metallica, and started climbing out from underneath my parents classic rock thumb, when it came to music.

i was too young to go to raves, or anything. but i do remember the Happy Mondays. they made it onto the college radio i listened to growing up.
