Why drill in America? We just buy it from everybody else until all of theirs is gone and then drill here...we'll be the only ones with oil!

Why drill in America? Because it makes people money.

By that time I'm sure mankind will have switched to something else. I've often wondered about the future and what modes of transportation will look like then.

Why drill in America? So politicians can lead you by the wallet into voting whatever they want you to vote!

Why drill anywhere when, using the Fischer-Tropisch process to synthisize petroleum products like gasoline and jet fuel from methanol? Because the Green Police have it bad for their sticking corn ethanol.

In the grand scheme of things, we don't have that much oil in the U.S. Also, for money.

Whatever it is it won't be motorized or require power, because there won't be any - not affordable to the mass public anyway

#-o No, a billion times No.

People fail to realize that the invention of the automobile was the "greenest" thing to hit the nation in that era. Polution was a major problem in urban areas. Greenhouse gasses have nothing (even ozone smog) compared to the tons of manure falling onto city streets and flowing down city drainage systems. It was a nightmare in more ways than one. While I love horses, I don't want to reutrn to the age of manure on the streets.

Just on "Chatter Box".

Imagine the traffic jams! (or the mess left afterwards.)

I really wasn't serious about that, you know.

Though I have heard of some farmers going back to the old horse plow in the fields, though slower, it is cheaper for them.
