My point exactly.Curmudgeonx wrote:And of course, the obvious note that the French "colors" are the same as the USA's "colors".
Who the f*ck gets worked up about the Olympics anyway (since Jimmy Carter at least)?
Bullshit! Next thing you know, you'll be telling me the Ruskies have the same colours too! >:(Curmudgeonx wrote:And of course, the obvious note that the French "colors" are the same as the USA's "colors".
I'm of the firm opinion that there should be dire consequences to losing any race in the Olympics. Back in the good old days, if you lost, Chinese authorities would take you out behind the barn and put a bullet in your head for bringing shame to the state. Now that's motivation! However, in these days this would no longer be considered "humane".dcowboys055 wrote:It was a pretty cool race to watch as far as watching swimming goes.
Yeah, we won the war, they are our colors!!!darvlay wrote:Bullshit! Next thing you know, you'll be telling me the Ruskies have the same colours too! >:(Curmudgeonx wrote:And of course, the obvious note that the French "colors" are the same as the USA's "colors".
Me!!! USA RULES!!! WOOOO!!!!!!!Curmudgeonx wrote:Who the f*ck gets worked up about the Olympics anyway (since Jimmy Carter at least)?
We could combine this with the idea of the reality show someone had the other day. Save the actual sportsmen for beter things, use wannabees for the piranha race.darvlay wrote:I'm of the firm opinion that there should be dire consequences to losing any race in the Olympics. I say we change the game - why not have athletes race sharks or barracudas for medals? You win, you get a medal. You lose, the world watches your flesh get torn and eaten. That would be some boss prime-time entertainment if you ask me.
Actually...towards the end...the Frenchman was indeed chasing the American...soooo that would mean...technically those colors were running.sideoutshu wrote:How does that humble pie taste?

That's SEVEN ONE HUNDREDTHS OF A SECOND
and 4 seconds under the previous WR time.

And so . . what? The only thing remotely interesting (meaning watching for longer than a commercial break from another channel) is beach volleyball, although badminton was interesting for a full 3 minutes last night on UHD.
