In my one brief visit there, the main difference that I noticed from US people was that they were less likely to talk to a complete stranger.

I don't know how many times I've heard "Are you guys Engllish? I love your accent!" from passers-by.
People in Toronto (for that is where we went) had much more of an English mind-my-own-business attitude.
We were there for Canada Day, great fireworks. Then we came back to NJ for July 4th. Too wet to go and see fireworks.

I was in Atlantic City last week, and roasted in the sweltering heat. I seen so many fat Americans on the beaches it was a freak show. A couple waddled by me, he resembled Jabba the Hut and she was a mini Grimace, purple swimsuit and all.

I think I know why Americans are so fat... They don't have to shovel snow in the winter time! Unlike here, where you have to shovel AND throw the snow above your head.

Who do you think supplies all of the food, oil, coal, etc to them?
