Did you really play 700 games without knowing this?

Score
Conquer Club members are initially given a score of 1000. At the end of each game, the winner takes points away from each loser. The points to be awarded is calculated as (loser's score / winner's score) * 20, up to a maximum of 100 points from each opponent.

I played over 1500 games before I cared to look up how the scoring was done. Even though I sorta knew how it happened, it was not until then I could be precise.

Completely random.

Formula (loser's score / winner's score) * 20 is clear and simple enough, but the problem is with the term "score". Not everybody on this site is North American. CC score is actually a rating (that's how we call it worldwide); and CC scoreboard is actually a rating list.
So, when a new player shows up and reads the formula... Many of them don't immediately catch that "score" is actually a player's rating and conclude that every player in every game makes some score, whatever it is. And they desperately try to find out HOW this mysterious score determines...
That's my experience. And I've later seen many posts by the people with similar problem.

A little generous using the expression 'worldwide'. However, you may have a point. Perhaps the equation should read:
Formula
(loser's current Scoreboard total / winner's current Scoreboard total) * 20Would that help?
