Rally For The Republic:Minneapolis 2008

Just got back from the
Rally For The Republic and the
Campaign For Liberty rallies that were held in Minneapolis, and let me tell you that I was very happy I went. The whole program was well put together and all Ron Paul supporters and pro-constitutionalists were very well energized, more so than what the RNC was or well be! I estimated the turn out at the Target Center was around 20,000. I don't know what the RNC numbers are, I heard estimates of 45,000 to 50,000...but those numbers ALSO include the media and security! So you can subtract at least 20,000+ people from that number and you will see that the Ron Paul Rally attracted just as many (and even more loyal and energized) people.
The Ron Paul delegates hated going back to the RNC because it was so boring compared to what our rally was! Jesse Ventura even hinted at a 2012 bid for the presidency!

You guys will have to keep on eye on CSPAN to watch the whole rally!
Ron Paul supporter and musician Aimee Allen sang (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3l0sBNBQBk)...she is just as good as Gwen Stefani from
No Doubt and her songs were awesome and politically and ideologically inspired! I highly recommend her music.
Tucker Carlson from MSNBC was hosting and announcing the speakers and entertainment, as well as a very good introductory speech by Barry Goldwater, Jr. for Ron Paul's finale.
Please take time, whether you are Dem or Republican, to look into Dr. Ron Paul's message of liberty and restoring the Republic to its foundations in the Constitution.
If you keep looking in the rally, perhaps you will even see 'Gip!
Much Peace!

PS: There was absolutely NO AMERICAN TAX MONEY USED TO FUND RON PAUL'S RALLY!

What's even funner, is that John McCain supporters need us to win the election and we were approached so many times on the street to vote for McCain! Ha! Never will happen...never!

Yes, excellent. Vote Ron Paul! Especially if it splits the Republican party!

We want to split both parties!
Return to Libertarian and Constitutionalistic values and philosophies.
Freedom and Liberty has a unique way of uniting people!

I think the best part about the whole convention is that Anti-Flag played a free concert on the capital grounds on the 2nd. Rage Against the Machine was going to play but wasn't allowed. And then of course, they led a march towards the excel. I wish i was there to see it all happen but unfortunately had to move 2 1/2 hours outta the cities a few days before.

I was just watching the RNC on TV this morning and listening to Palin talk about Pit Bulls and lipstick...the very top seats in the Xcel were completely empty! The Rally for the Republic had its top most seats almost full! (I would guesstimate around 70 or 80% as opposed to 0% at the RNC)
Jesse Ventura was a blow hard, but he really got that Minneapolis crowd going!

Yep...guns will be on his hit list. I can hear the argument now: "Oh..but we won't take your right to
hunt away...."
Hello? The 2nd Amendment isn't about HUNTING! It's about the people being able to protect their rights from a tyrannical government!
Does anyone remember Clinton taking away assault style weapons?
In South Dakota...we still got them. We just HID them!
Personally, I don't own a firearm, but that doesn't mean I don't support the right to bear arms. I would like to practice that specific right if the times call for it.
Yes, I must agree with you, Obama will be looking at removing more guns from America.
We need Constitutionalists right now!
